I've been trying to clarify the difference since the story broke. People are really stubborn when they don't want to hear facts.

The MSM is purposely clouding the issue to make it look like Foley went after the same kids he was protecting with laws. The media wanted the alleged hypocrite label to stand out.

I am curious why you think these questions are not important. A sincere person trying to stop the behavior of Mark Foley would not have revealed the salacious IMs to ABC first. And they would not have waited from 2003 until Sept 30, 2006. How about calling in police or the FBI or the House leadership before the media?

No, it's not relevant in a political sense. It's just tit for tat... But it is relevant in a criminal sense. The person who sat on the IMs (for whatever reason) needs to answer for that since it put young boys in danger.

You simply just don't get it. It's not just tit for tat, especially if the hypocrite RATS knew about the IMs before the Republicans did. The Democrats shouldn't be getting away with feigning ignorance if they knew all along. It's not really all that relevant in a criminal sense at all - not reporting a crime usually isn't a crime.

The mention was brief, but they didn't seem to know if Foley would have access in rehab, either.
