I am curious why you think these questions are not important. A sincere person trying to stop the behavior of Mark Foley would not have revealed the salacious IMs to ABC first. And they would not have waited from 2003 until Sept 30, 2006. How about calling in police or the FBI or the House leadership before the media?

I agree with you... Whoever had the IMs should have gone straight to the police, but they didn't. They need to answer for it.

In a political sense, is it important? No...because its a feeding frenzy that will die out when the press has something else to chew on and the Mark Foley story has run its course.

Giving them the name of the Dem and shreiking "Ah, ha! Evil Hypocritcal Democrat!" Just not important.
