Welcome to the FReeper Canteen! We're honored to have you with us for another weekend of fun, music, and amusement. We hope that you enjoy the selections provided at the top of the thread and throughout the entire thread. If you love our military, currently or served in the past, we hope you feel comfortable. Thank you for your service to our country. To our allies, thank you for all you do by standing with us!! |
Until you return home, we're here!!
|
How this works! 1. Selections are provided for the enjoyment of our Troops, Veterans, Allies, and their family members. They're priority numero uno! Got it? 2. You can request music via the thread by pinging laurenmarlowe. She does this for free because she doesn't know any better. However, please be patient and treat her well and she'll load up your request for our Troops. Thanks!
**laurenmarlowe is back! WooHoo!! GodBlessUSA is our junior sweeper!! We've got you covered! 3. If you are just a lurker and not a member of FR, you are welcome to send us requests via email at musicrequests4u@gmail.com . Please put *Music Request* in the subject line. If we don't get back to you right away, please don't fret. We'll get there. These threads tend to fly! If you're a FReeper, ping laurenmarlowe or do it via FReepmail. Please help us free up the email for lurkers! 4. Not all music will be appropriate for kids. We welcome families to enjoy the music, but the ULTIMATE RESPONSIBILITY lies with you and not us. If you click on something and are offended, that's on you. We try to provide ample warning, but it's your mouse and decision. 5. Want to tick us off quickly? Hotlink our music! That is an absolute no-no! This is provided free of charge to our Troops, Veterans, Allies, and their families. Hotlinking takes bandwidth that could be given to them. Jukeboxes at the Canteen are created through this program! Be careful! The music might be offensive on the site! |
Music!! Tonight's theme deals with hits from the 20th century. You may not completely agree, but the compilation jukeboxes below will allow you to browse some of the hits!! We'll continue this until we're done or we're bored! We'll use a song from the jukebox to get you started! All jukeboxes will open in a new window! We will begin at 2000 and move our way forward each week until we hit number one!! Enjoy! |

Thank you....24 hours has now passed and soup sounds really good. My stomach seems to have settled down finally. And the sun is shining brightly....a nice Saturday. Hope you are having a pleasant start to your weekend too. Were you ever able to get to the alarm setting off teddy bears? ((HUGS)) for you and prayers for Robert.

I have to just say this.... LOL. The one thing, I make that I can honestly say is the most delicious, LOL is mashed potatoes. Unfortunately, this is known throughout my family. And they always have me make them for Thanksgiving and there are usually 18+ for dinner ;)

From your post it sounds as if you might have been a bit under the weather. We've had a beautiful day her in Northern CA. I'm getting ready to prep some Eagle Lake Rainbow Trout for smoking tomorrow.
"Were you ever able to get to the alarm setting off teddy bears?" My memory must be fading with age or something. I'm not recalling what this is in reference to. Thanks for the ((HUGS))and prayers, especially for Robert. No word from him yet. He's probably got his hands full in the new patrol sector they are in. Prayers for all of the troops.
