Duane 'Dog' Chapman Says Feds Sold Him Out to Mexico in Exchange for Drug Lord
Fox News ^ | 19 September 2006

Mexico - where bounty hunting is illegal - claims Chapman jumped bail after being charged with illegally detaining Luster in June 2003.

A new special about last week's arrest will air tonight (10 p.m.) on A&E.

Chapman, who is out on $300,000 bail, said on yesterday's "Today" show that if he goes to prison in Mexico, he will be killed by inmates avenging the thousands of fleeing felons he's brought to justice.

"I won't last two days," he said.

Dog = Rosa Parks?! Jeez.

They both broke the law and as a result the world is a better place. Or would you argue that we would be better off with Lusker running around?

Then your dog guy should accept his "gift" since he asked for it.

He has and makes it apparent on his program. What you see after he apprehends folks is true Christian compassion. It actually is very heartlifting especially in light of the fact that he did not accept Jesus until he was well into adulthood.

That doesn't make any sense. Dog, although interested in justice, is in BUSINESS. So there must be more to the story.

Now THIS development is just LOVELY...

Our President just told Wolf Blitzer that he would send U.S. troops into Pakistan to get Bin Laden EVEN IF PAKISTAN REFUSED TO GIVE US PERMISSION to do so.

So its ok for U.S. troops to violate Pakistani sovreignty to get Bin Laden, but it is NOT ok for Duane "Dog" Chapman to enter Mexico legally but break their laws to capture and bring vicious serial rapist Andrew Luster back to the U.S. for trial.

The hypocrisy is just digusting.

True Christian compassion? LOL!

He's apprehending them for doing the exact same thing he did himself. That's hypocrisy not compassion.

In general I do not think they announce they are going to come get you because they don't want you to flee. Makes total sense to me.

All I can say is to try to form your impressions of Christians by visiting an actual church rather than judging us by what some people post on Internet forums.

A lot of this was face-to-face LONG before there was an Internet.

I found his followers, and that was (and is, and most likely will be) quite sufficient to convince me to the contrary.

That's your problem, not ours.

That's your problem, not ours.

If you're allegedly supposed to evangelize the world for Christianity, it is definitely your problem.

"Cowards hiding behind power. That is what they are."

Agreed. Too many of our LEO's get a kick out of acting like military troops. They way over play the swat thing. The fact that they run around in black masks reminds me of a third world terrorist and not an officer of OUR laws.

If they want to were heavy body armor and carry automatic long guns let them put on a real military uniform and report to Iraq.

I will never forget the swat team they brought into return Ellian (?) Gonzales to FORCE him to go back to Cuba. I was horrified. I thought at the time this was horrible that our government sends defacto storm troopers in to get one boy to send him back to a communist country.

It seemed to me to be the start of the beginning of the end. A heavily armed swat team comes to capture a little boy to force him back to a country that we have ongoing sanctions against. Pathetic.

If the Libyans ask the U.S. for reparations and remunerations for the losses the country incurred when our Marines stormed the shores of Tripoli would we pay?

"Unless it's the U.S. Then you don't need to have any respect for it's laws. They only punish citizens"

Or children who escape communist countries. Remember the storm troopers of Clinton and Reno who bashed down the door of a home to arrest a child. Remember the picture of the federal Marshal's pointing an AUTOMATIC WEAPON AT A CHILD?

Ellian Gonzales knows you don't actually need to commit a crime against the U.S. or to a citizen to have the SS in goggles assault your bed room.

He is now back in Cuba.

"You need to think about the political ramifications of this one and the legals ones also."

I think in some of the pictures from the RAID a few years ago to capture that deadly child- E. Gonzales- I saw Sawdring in the back ground serving coffee to the hardworking storm troopers with automatic weapons and masks.

"Mexico didn't release scumbag luster, they extradited him the next day back to California."

Yes, and he had been down there for a long while and they had never captured Luster and returned him as we had requested. He never would have unless someone brought him back. Only AFTER dog had caught him and it was a matter of public and media record did they extradite him to the U.S.

Remember ENRIQUE CAMERANA the U.S. federal officer who was killed while trying to get a convicted mexican drug dealer to be extradited to the U.s.? He was killed by mexican FEDERAL POLICE and army personnel (among others). The mexican's did not even want to extradite the killers to the U.S.

Mexico is NO friend of ours and cares little about extradition laws and agreements with the U.S.

Dane I have read your postings on this thread and I marvel at your selective recall of history of the honorable mexicans history of their dealings with the U.S.

No, it's not. It's not up to me or others to cater to the whims of a few malcontents such as yourself. Your views are your problem, not mine.

"want"

You need to replace want with can't.

I think the drug lord story is illogical.
More like they want to send a message and maybe the guy dog captured also made a payment to them to get revenge.

Who knows?

"IOW, you like his show, so he shouldn't have to face the consequences of his actions?"

Geez. Some people just refuse to see the difference between someone who captured a convicted serial rapist and someone who captured a convicted serial rapist and was arrested by the country harboring that convicted rapist because that country will not capture and extradite the convicted serial rapist.

Some might think they are idiots, others will think they just do not understand or have common sense. I am sure most readers of this thread will choose correctly.

"Why would a "Christian" commit an illegal act in another country?"

I think you are confusing Christian committing an illegal act, with doing the right thing. Dog captured a convicted serial rapist who the mexican government and legal authorities and cops had refused to act in capturing and extraditing for his crimes.

Why don't you ask the victims of the rapes what was the right thing to do. Have some common sense man.
