Mexico - where bounty hunting is illegal - claims Chapman jumped bail after being charged with illegally detaining Luster in June 2003.

A new special about last week's arrest will air tonight (10 p.m.) on A&E.

Chapman, who is out on $300,000 bail, said on yesterday's "Today" show that if he goes to prison in Mexico, he will be killed by inmates avenging the thousands of fleeing felons he's brought to justice.

"I won't last two days," he said.

Let me understand this?

In Mexico it is illegal to bounty hunt? In Mexico it is not probable to get a felon (Luster) extradited back to the US. Enter Dog the bounty hunter. Luster is back in the US and gets 100+ years in his day in court? Dog is indicted by the Mexican gov't for bounty hunting? And the US is going to extradite him to Mexico to face charges? Lord help us......

Luster was paying for protection in Mexico, it's the only reason Dog was arrested in the first place.

Bush kowtows to his corrupt Mexican masters.

There was a thread about Duane Chapman several days ago where the Mexico-firsters were high fiving each other over this. It was rather illuminating.

The payout is, Dog is now a rich guy, and Mexico's justice system is notoriously corrupt - no doubt there are a lot of palms waiting to be greased in Mexico to get Dog out of this jam.

And the U.S. Government should be an accomplice to this corrupt scheme because.....?

I'm not a fan of this guy from what I have seen on tv, but if Mexico won't send us the criminals who sneak in this country and kill and pillage back for trial, why the hell are we sending this guy to them?

"...and Chapman can afford it."

Yea. His film crew is with it all the way. Watch for a special episode coming to a tube near you. He will make enough to feed his 13 kids.

Then allow us the courtesy to not feel anything if you are wrongly jailed or detained.

Yes, I suppose so.

The "Dog" has caused so much misery for so many whereas you, Clemenza, have done so much for all of us and that fabulous state of yours, New Jersey.

"Mr. Macho in black leather, turns yeller."

There you go again. You keep calling him a coward, on multiple threads.

I hope you meet him after he gets out, girlie man.

Mucho gracias!

Why doesn't Dog take his wife, Beth, as protection.

She is always carrying a letal weapon, her bottom.

And the U.S. Government should be an accomplice to this corrupt scheme because.....?

It so happens that both of our political parties are in the tank for Mexico.

The Evil Party wants as many foreigners and as many hispanics as possible (the poorer and the more uneducated and unskilled the better) into the country and eventually voting so they can play their racist, divide-by-skin-color and class warfare games to enthrone themselves back at the top of the spoils heap, permanently this time.

And the Stupid Party has been convinced by the Wall Street open borders crowd and big business interests in agriculture, construction, meat processing, etc. that cutting off the endless supply of cheap illegal labor will tank the economy and if that happens, voters will punish them at the polls.
