Chirac's pockets were full of Saddam's money. Why not the mullahs' money as well?

The only "dialogue" Chirac seems to know is surrender, appeasement, and bribes.

That a boy Jacques.
The French seem to keep their white flag in a holster.
It comes out so fast - only possible with daily practice.

As world leaders gather at the United Nations this week to debate a host of global issues, French President Jacques Chirac said Monday that the threat of sanctions against Iran should be suspended during nuclear negotiations. I could go along with that as long as we keep the threat of bombing their leadership out of existane on the table.

How many Frenchmen does it take to defend Paris?
No one knows...it's never been tried before.

As we keep ripping the pages off the calender month by month, year by year, they keep going ahead with what they want. I vote for an EMP 100 miles above Tehran, a really big one. No one dies (well, not very many) and they get the kind of world they want, about 10th century or so.

Jaques. "dialogue" by definition means that both participants have a position to present and defend. Saying "Whatever you say" is not a form of dialogue!
Why do they keep electing this fool?

"I don't believe in a solution without dialogue," Since you want the West to unilaterally disarm itself in negotiations by ruling out a priori not just the threat of force but even non-vioent economic sanctions, then you don't believe in a solution period, since Iran will have absolutely no incentive to come to terms when we have no bargaining leverage whatsoever. The foolish appeaser!
