Today the Italian writer Oriana Fallaci is dead.
Sorry FRiends, but I'm really sad. She, with her books, tauch me what FReedom means. It was for her that I stood with America after September 11.
I always say that two dates change my life: September 11 2001 when the Twins Towel fell and September 29 2001 when her first article "The Rage and the Pride" was pubbished on an Italian newspaper. Whit her courage she show me that we don't have to be worry, that we have to fight for FReedom and for our values.
And if I do it today, it's only thank her.
GRAZIE ORIANA, THE WORLD HAS MISSED A GREAT MIND.
Claudia
ps: Sorry my bad English.
A great lady. She will be missed.
Yes we will miss her Claudia.
She was a very special and
brave person.
I just bought her Force of Reason and she certainly tells it like it is..No political correctness for her. She cut right to the problem, and I applaud her for that.
RIP and Godspeed
Dearest one...Rest with the Lord.
Oriana Fallaci, R.I.P.
G-D bless her.
Yep, she was not politically correct -- and that is a good thing.

May she rest in peace. She said what needed to be said with precision. Her voice will never die.
I had tremendous respect for her, even a love (never met her) because of her love of the truth. She didn't know just how un-atheistic she was, for the Truth is Jesus Christ, The Way. The Truth and The Life.
I suspect God has put her in a not-so-bad place for that love and earthly defense of the truth. Not Heaven, but not Hell, for "my Father's house has MANY mansions".
"I feel just as bad as when Ronald Reagan died. It's one less hero helping to hold back the long night of totalitarianism.'
That's how I feel. I seldom grieve over a death in the news. Today, I grieve. She was one of the great ones.
Her courage will be missed.
If you had to pick only ONE book, which would it be? Force of Reason? I want to give one to a relative for Christmas.
I wonder if she can finally return to Europe now, or will the EU legal system try and pursue her from beyond the grave for speaking the TRUTH.
Yes, that would be a good choice. If you can add another, make it The Rage and the Pride.
What a sad day.
RIP. Her powerful voice will be missed.
