I didn't hear if anyone was planning for a live thread of the film tonight. Just in case anyone wants to start early. Some in Australia already have seen part 1. Part 1 airs tonight at 8pm Eastern Time on ABC.

YIKES!
Yeah, the comment on the news flash was that the neither the Clinton OR the Bush Administrations went after the Cole bombers; trying to spread the blame. Though, if I remember correctly, those bombers were arrested, after Bush was elected, but later 'escaped' from the prison in Yemen.
post 314 has snippets of proposed cut scenes
She's an actress...she did a great job.
Oh, you know they will. I am watching it now on the west coast. What has struck me so far, Massoud is a great great loss to the war on terror God Rest his soul.
Are these the one's floating around the net since yesterday? Those scenes were ALL IN THE MOVIE.
When the border agent stopped the guy coming across from Canada in mid December, 1999, my hubby turned to me and said "have you noticed it's the women who are paying attention to this". Not 5 minutes later, when informed about the border agent, John O'Neill, in the movie said the same thing! We just laughed out loud at that!
Yes, it makes a lot of since.
That is an urban legend via an email. The name Ollie North said was Abuni Dahl. That is a phonetic spelling. I remember watching the testimony. It is also listed on a number of sites that the email was false, if you would like to read it for yourself.
Yeah, but on the plus side we'll be able watch the entire season, week after week, without interruption :)
You speak angelica too? Great.
Jamie Gorelick, a Clinton deputy attorney general and a Democratic member of the commission, said the administration does not distribute the $715 billion based on risk. 'I mean, if you don`t give the funds out based on risk and you instead give it out on politics or some formula that gives Wyoming more than New York City, you know, you are wasting money,' she said.
"What former American President has ever used these types of threatening tactics?" Ah, but these are democrats, the sme party that has two past presidents (both utter failures, BTW) doing all they can here and abroad to undermine the current presidency and thus this nation, all for empowerment of their party. Democrats are the enemy within ... and they're so damn stupid, they can't nor can the dolts who worship them in ballots realize they are the enemy of this nation, working from the inside to destroy the nation's unity in time of war.
Maybe I can take my little Swiss Army Knife next time I fly, but I'll have to remember to pack my mascara and toothpaste in my checked baggage. Both were taken when I flew from Ft. Myers to Boston a couple of weeks ago.
All those scene clips were in the movie. I've watched them and saw them in the movie.
You know those 36 days in Florida caused us to suffer. If I remember correctly, the whole country was focused on that in 2000 and Clinton wasn't sharing intelligence with Bush. We paid for that.
Or for the "cut" scenes:

I noticed one thing. Next time I see an Arab wrap a red scarf around his neck I'm gonna be paying close attention.
[Afghans commemorate Massoud death anniversary
Five years after his death, the iconic image of Afghan guerrilla fighter commander Massoud looms over his fellow countrymen. Government leaders including President Hamid Kharzai attended a military parade at a stadium in Kabul to commemorate the commander. He was killed in a suicide attack two days before the September the 11th attacks in the United States. Karzai declared that due to Massoud's sacrifice Aghanistan had become free.
Ahmad Shah Massoud, known as the "Lion of Panshir," came to prominence during the war against the Soviet invasion in the 1980s. Later he was a focus of resistance against the fundamentalist Taliban regime. Almost five years after their removal from power in an American backed assault, Taliban fighters continue to battle with government forces and NATO troops in the south of the country.]
