I didn't hear if anyone was planning for a live thread of the film tonight. Just in case anyone wants to start early. Some in Australia already have seen part 1. Part 1 airs tonight at 8pm Eastern Time on ABC.

In 1993, I was not at all politically oriented. All I really knew about Bubba was that he was an alto saxophone player, like I am (though I haven't played it since he was in office).

In downtown Los Angeles, there is a Trade Center, on Figueroa St. near the Bonaventure Hotel. I remember walking past it and wondering where the bomb damage was. (That's how much I followed politics.)

Then I heard that it was in New York's World Trade Center. I wondered at the time what it must have been like, to be there in person. Eight years later, I saw it much worse.

One of the worst faux-documentaries I ever saw. The scene cuts a thousand times a minute--no coherent thread. Head shots--no relationship to previous scene.

All the failures of the Clinton administration are buried in fast-cutting scenes. Sympathy for the terrorists as men without showing their fundamentalism.

Made for teenagers.
