NICOLE Kidman has made a public stand against terrorism.
The actress, joined by 84 other high-profile Hollywood stars, directors, studio bosses and media moguls, has taken out a powerfully-worded full page advertisement in today's Los Angeles Times newspaper.
It specifically targets "terrorist organisations" such as Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in Palestine.
"We the undersigned are pained and devastated by the civilian casualties in Israel and Lebanon caused by terrorist actions initiated by terrorist organisations such as Hezbollah and Hamas," the ad reads.
"If we do not succeed in stopping terrorism around the world, chaos will rule and innocent people will continue to die.
"We need to support democratic societies and stop terrorism at all costs."
A who's who of Hollywood heavyweights joined Kidman on the ad.
The actors listed included: Michael Douglas, Dennis Hopper, Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Danny De Vito, Don Johnson, James Woods, Kelly Preston, Patricia Heaton and William Hurt.
Directors Ridley Scott, Tony Scott, Michael Mann, Dick Donner and Sam Raimi also signed their names.
Other Hollywood powerplayers supporting the ad included Sumner Redstone, the chairman and majority owner of Paramount Pictures, and billionaire mogul, Haim Saban.
Agree completely. Nicole Kidman is...WOW!
No, he couldn't possibly contribute to the war on terror, he's just an actor.
bttt
Heard a report the other day about a study some media watchdog group did on crime dramas. They said that if the real world was like CSI and Law & Order, you would be seven or eight times more likely to be killed by a white business owner/manager than by any member of a gang or other criminal class.
LOL...I thought that the Masons run the world; or is it only Jewish Masons? :-)

I absolutely adore Bernie Mac!
Oh, you mean the guy who got an award from the Weisenthal center? I think he's proven his pro-Jewish chops.
That's where you prove you just don't get it. Nobody's "putting much stock" in this bunch of actors, wtih the exception of the ones like Heaton and Woods who've well prved themselves. We just don't see a conspiracy of Da Jooooooz here. That you do reflects on your prejudices or your intelligence.
Bruce Willis is really tight with those who served with the Deuce Four who were made famous by the Michael Yon Blog. Bruce is directing a movie about them and was at their coming home party:

Gary Sinise is so tight with the GI's that he has been all over the world doing entertainment tours. They call him...what else? Lieutenant Dan!

I'd love to see your evidence that Woods, Heaton and Willis are under the control of the DNC. Give me a break.
Don't worry, Holicheese, we won't hold it against you that bcsco praised your logic skills. :-)
Love his show.
See #211...
I agree. But I don't see this as anything wondering about. For those who've been/or become conservative it's a way of couching that belief. It's certainly not a way of expressing it.
I'm not whizzing on it. I'm simply stating that this statement has no traction and no importance. Those who are liberal are still liberal. those who were right are still right. Northing's changed here.
And, beyond that, it's not going to change a darned thing. Israel still has to take the matter in hand and do what's necessary.
that picture won't stay up for long, but thanks for posting it!

You're welcome.
