Horror story of a friend who just returned from London
friend who just returned from London | 8-12-06 | Doug from Upland

Posted on 08/12/2006 10:37:34 AM PDT by doug from upland

A friend and his family just returned from London. It took them three days. When I have time, I'll tell a longer story. After 40 hours with almost no sleep, he was only up to giving me a few tidbits.

- He, his wife, and three sons were trapped in some kind of a tunnelway near the boarding area. He says there were thousands of people stuck with him.

- they were there for 5 hours without access to food or drinks. It was essentially unventilated and people were throwing up. People were complaining and screaming, and kids were crying. They had no idea what was going on.

- a little later they finally got some word of the terrorist threat. They saw people with automatic weapons and TV cameras storming the airport.

- I don't know if he said it was Gatwick or in Newark, but some employees couldn't handle it and walked off the job

- in Newark, people went behind the counter and actually were checking in their own luggage. When autorities showed up, they shut that down, told people it was a federal crime, and ordered baggage removed from many flights.

I guess Michael Moore saying, "There is no terrorist threat" doesn't apply now. Ya think?

They couldn't just turn around, leave and return another day?

Almost all, or a large majority of problems and inconveinences in the world at the moment and for the past couple of decades are caused, aided and abetted by Islam and the Muslims.

The entire world would simply be better off without any of them.

They're incredibly stupid, short sighted, rude, backwards, barbaric, selfish and self centered. Their whole culture, belief system, behavior, ethos and philosophy stinks.

As Dennis Miller used to say: "That's just my opinion, I could be wrong." But I don't think so.

We can either:

Totally abandon our way of life and become prisoners in our own homes in our own land, or...

Send the arabs home.

That's it. Just send them home.

That's the ONLY thing that will give them a clue that they have to change their ways.

The solution:

Herd all muzzies off to the side. Let civilization pass them by in the line to the aircraft.

muzzies can wallow in their own mire that they've worked so hard to obtain. Strip search all muzzies before letting them back into line. Escort muzzies off all airport property if they refuse. muzzies can start their own airlines.

I think his friend and his family ought to be own their knees in gratitude that they are here and not scattered over the ocean.

Coming to a terminal near you unless half the country wakes up.

There is also now a Londonistan.

Don't forget Ba'ath, England.

I think the worst part of being trapped in a tunnel would be the lack of bathrooms.

Whining sissy indeed. He's one of that group of petted and privilege 60s generation that made in into positions of power. They are still living in Kum By Hya Land, trippin' down the cobblestones feelin' groovy with a flower in their hair. Their foreign policy is to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony, because donchano, we are the world - we are the children. They can't admit the reality of real conflict.

So the short waits they said on TV at Newark was because of people taking care of themselves?

I think it should be a wake up call. How can democrats continue their partisan "hate Bush" mantra when they are now in the cross hairs.

We need them scared not dead because the idiots that voted them in the first time will just vote an equally vapid and clueless lib who hasn't come inches from death. I want the demcrats to know their heads are on the chopping block too.

"I'll second that, Newark (NJ) is a cesspool of crime & corruption"

I know, but they do have a good restaurant at the airport there: "Olives" created by Todd English. Good pizza, etc.

Sounds like Lebanon right now with all the main roads bombed, so people can't get out, electricity's off and medical responders - and food deliverers - can't get in.

..."boarding area," to come home? ..."people with automatic weapons...storming the airport"...? Be thankful for living in the USA and having American-style administrations (especially military) here.

Worse would be the guy next to you realizing that one doesn't necessarily need a bathroom for relief...

Inconvenience is far preferable to becoming dead.
