There are no new pictures of the President or First Lady today, since they are spending some time together at Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford, Texas, but we know full well that there are no 'vacations' for this President, and that he is hard at work protecting America from danger.
So.......since there are no new photos, I'm posting several of my favorite ranch pictures just for fun, and will give my report on my husband's and my personal encounter with the President last week, and will post the photos taken from our very own camera.

They take the taxes from the hefty earners in No. VA and they spend it in Richmond and Virginia Beach, that's what! Oh, and it helps if you remember that we had a (D) Govenor who got a $2 Billion (yes, with a "B") increase due to his incredible real estate taxes - and then decided to keep all of that money in Richmond, for a "rainy day". I'd like to see what a TWO BILLION DOLLAR rainy day looks like!!

Snugs, you are so nice. I have a ton of photos I wanted to put in. Luckily, I figured out how to do a collage. It took me half a day, but I did it. I call it "Dubya Mania."
He sure is eye candy. Laura probably loves to tell him how handsome he is. I wonder if he believes her.

That's pretty cool that you got to meet the president first hand! I met his father back in 1989, shook his hand, said a few words back and forth. Great guy, great sense of humor.
His smile is infectious..........even in a photograph.
Many a day I've come to this thread a bit down over news, and the President's smile has lifted me right up.
It's no wonder that President Bush has such a great sense of humor. His Dad and MOM are terrific!
I know! That's what's so amazing about both couples! It's as if George and Laura are the mirrored image of George and Barbara. Laura and Barbara share the same role as wives, they keep their husbands in check. LOL
I am too. It turned out there were a lot more pics than I thought, and I didn't even include all of them in mine. It would have been too much to ask someone else to do.
I'm going to have loads of fun now. I already have a new one in mind for my nephew. His name is Jerry, so I thought about downloading photos of other famous Jerrys/Jerolds. (Jerry the Mouse, Jerry Springer, Jerry Seinfeld, and Gerald Ford). Then I'll get a really cute one of our Jerry to put in the middle, but I'll have to wait until I get a photo that looks good portrait-style.
