The Passion of the Toys
In Platoon, Oliver Stone said the first casualty of war is innocence.
He was wrong.
As the photos here show, the first casualties of war are...the symbols of innocence. And photographers from Reuters and the AP just happened upon many of these perfectly placed symbols of war's horrors.

Issam Kobeisi, Reuters
Mohamed Azakir, Reuters
This last one is the only one that seems...untouched.
Feel the pathos. Mourn for these oh-so-photogenic and suspiciously dust-free trinkets of childhood.
Just don't ask any questions about their veracity.
That would be wrong.

Always knew those terrorists were the backers of the Mickey Mouse club and their clever attempt to subvert the children.... {/sarcasm

I'm willing to bet these are some of the 900 or so photos that Reuters claims they 'pulled'. No. None of these are from Hajj. They only pulled his potfolio. You can find these up on yahoo right now. See my earlier post with the Yahoo links.

Wait a minute!?! Something is fishy about these pictures!?!
Where are the toy AK-47s?
Or the toy suicide bomber backpacks?
Or the toy granades that all Islamofascist kids are trained to use and wear?
Where is the blow-up Ariel Sharon vampire punching bag?
To: Shermy
If the guy (post #55) is attempting to show that the toys are pristine because they were protected by the pink case, that doesn't explain why the pink case - alone of everything else in the photo - is pristine and untouched by dust or debris. lol

And not a crack on it .. especially after a building supposedly fell on it

Probably the principle of "fake but accurate" is operative here, i.e., "it's true that children were killed, and that they probably had toys, so lets show the toys to underscore the fact that children died, even if we have to plant the toys." Rather and Reuters think alike.
To: CholeraJoe
and very often the toy has RED as the predominant color, just to make sure we don't miss seeing it since we are all BLIND and STOOOOPID!
they disgust me.
