Another photo by Reuters photographer Adnan Hajj has been shown to be doctored. The photo, which proports to be of an Israeli F-16 firing missiles on Lebanon has been doctored to make the photo seem more sensational. Here is the original Reuters photo along with its caption.

From what I read from some of the other posts, the gray dots are bombs and the white dots are supposed to be missiles? Actually this seems a bit more suspicious. Like you say the missile travels twice as fast as the aircraft, and I assume the only thing that powers the bomb is gravity. So the missiles ought to lead the bombs, no? I'm no expert here so please correct me if I'm wrong.
So what do you think those three objects in front of the flare trails might be? Canisters of leaflets, or is that some part of the flare itself?
I wouldn't have ever thought this pic was faked, to be honest, it looks like pictures I've seen of flare drops in the past. Somebody's got really sharp eyes to catch this.

There were two other guys taking photos for Reuters in Qana. There names are Ali Hashisho and Zohra Bensemra.
Was the name of the last photographer on the paragraph Ali Hashisho? If it was, he was also taking pictures in Qana.
The cluster of trees in the upper left portion may look larger than they should with the naked eye if the photogrpher used a telelphoto or moderate zoom lens.
Use of such a lens compresses the scene to some extent and may depict background objects in a t perspective other than normal.
My main computer just crashed bigtime on me and I'm using a really old Mac to get my mail and such. Will not be posting or back on line much until I can fix it. :< .
It established on Monday that a photograph of an Israeli F-16 fighter over Nabatiyeh, southern Lebanon and dated Aug 2, had also been doctored to increase the number of flares dropped by the plane from one to three.
Its Monday statement, after describing the flap over the first image, reads: "An immediate enquiry began into Hajjs other work. It found on Monday that a second photograph, of an Israeli F-16 fighter over Nabatiyeh, southern Lebanon and dated Aug 2, had been doctored to increase the number of flares dropped by the plane from one to three."
That's the trouble. If you don't follow all of the rules, written or unwritten, you run the risk of getting banned. FR ain't gonna be much good if nobody posts. I'm grateful for those who run the risk daily.
Assuming they even really exist, it is impossible to tell from this photo other than to assume they are most likely unguided, non-precision type munitions, based on how they are being delivered. Because the Israeli's are clearly sensitive about what they hit, I would guess what the F-16 is dropping is something nonlethal, and possibly leaflets.
YOu know, all the todo about the fakery in a few shots is fine. But really, the bigger issue is the staging of the Qana massacre shots. I'm not noticing any MSM types picking up on that at all. They all seem insensed about the fakery of the photoshopped pictures, but say nothing about the staging of massacres to manipulate PR.
Late post, boiled, not seared!
