Hezbollah terrorists fire a missile from the southern Lebanese city of Tyre.
so glad to have you back safe and sound!!!
I have no clue other then his name is Mike Evans and he was talking about Condi's visit. He's pro Bush and very upset that Condi may get a cease fire. But I have been up since 4PM yesterday afternoon, and out of the loop so what do I know?
It gets worse. For months the UN refused to let Israel view the tapes. They also located the vehicles that were used in the kidnapping and removed all of the contents which they also would not share. They said they had to remain "neutral." It appears to me that they were, in fact, taking sides.
I must admit I couldn't get past the hysterics to actually hear what he was saying. Can you summarize what he was right about?
There are a lot of similarity in attitude about their right to make you behave like you believe between our Totalitarian Democrats and the Islamofascists...
Good Morning. I think...........
Glad to know I am not alone, I can't seem to keep up without a score card. Congress is still in session and I am to busy to keep and eye on them, as well! I can't keep track of the whole world and remember to feed the cat at the same time!
He essentially said that Israel is fighting a war that needs to be fought....that to expect the Lebanese army to go South and control Hezbollah is a pipedream...that Lebanon is a state sponsor of terrorism...and the last thing needed to bring safety to the region is a cease fire.
Good morning, everyone.
I opened my newspaper this morning and there was a huge photo of the UN 'humanitarian relief' guy, Jan Engelund (sp), doing his ultra-compassionate pose while listening to an elderly Lebanese woman, with a crowd of semi-hysterical Lebanese around him and rubble all around in the background. (Ultra-compassionate pose: head cocked at an angle listening intently to the victim, concerned look on the face, eyes scrunched together, fingers locked together over the stomach, you know the drill).
He could have taken the same picture in Israel. But no surprise that he's in Lebanon blathering on about Israel's 'disproportionate response' and the humanitarian crisis it's created, and getting posed pictures made that illustrate his concern.
Apparently it hasn't occurred to him that if the UN had done their job for the last 28 years or so, Israel wouldn't have to respond at all, let alone disproportionately.
Right, but Dershowitz is of the left -- except when it comes to Israel; maybe the left (well, not the moonbats, but the "moderate" left) will listen to him if not to us.
LOL! Seems I was more confused than Darby. That's what results from Middle East-News-Reporter mindset. (Of course I remember Van Halen & David Lee Roth....they just didn't figure into my current train of thought)
I was thinking of this guy

IMO, Lebanon needs to be leveled.
They gave up their sovereignty in 2000...when Israel left.
They "hired" Hessians in the form of Hezbollah...that promised to protect their borders.
This is what they got.
Golda Meir was correct when she said, "Until they love their children more than they hate us...there can be no peace".
This is exposing to the rest of the World how useless the UN trely is. Perhaps we can witness the end of that terrorist organization too.
Pray for W and Our Troops
Shalom Israel
Oh, and if he'd stop squealing.
One thing he's right about is that Israel should not stop until they've reached their goals.
I'm assuming there that those goals are to take away Hizbolla's military capacity and incidentally leave them bare to Lebanon's mandate to finally disarm them.
(If they are willing to do so - that's the biggie)
He thinks Hezbollah can handle them.
He wants a cease-fire and wonders why they cannot achieve it since this is not the first squabble.
He doesn't blame Hezbollah he blames Israel...even when Soledad O'Brien had him in a full-nelson.
