The London Evening Standard's late front page (not online yet) read "Human Sandbags", reporting an IDF spokesman claiming that Hizbullah are forceably placing South Lebanese families adjacent to missile launchers and accompanied by a harrowing picture of a dead child.
Let's not forget our common humanity. The deceased little girl seemed to be about the same age as my daughter (4ish). Cut me to the quick it did. As Golda Meir said "we can forgive them for killing our children but we can never forgive them for making us kill their children."

Hizbullah leader, Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, spoke for the first Thursday since the beginning of the week, saying Hizbullah's entire infrastructure and leadership hierarchy were still intact and functional.
Speaking to Al-Jazeera, Nasrallah said, "All of Israel's talk about 50 percent of our infrastructure being damaged is nonsense."
"We will show Israel many more surprises," he vowed, adding that, "We are saving all of our reactions for the right time."
Nasrallah said that, "even if the entire world will demand it," the kidnapped Israeli soldiers would only be released for Lebanese and Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails.
He did not offer any information regarding the condition of the soldiers.

Are they just Lebanese, or did it specifically say "Muslims" - I ask because there were many Christian Lebanese, most of whom fled to the US decades ago, but occasionally go back to visit family now that they can.
I doubt that they'll be going back anytime soon, however. I read an interview with one of them who hadn't been there for awhile and came back and saw Hizbollah posters lining the streets. Not a good thing for anybody but radical Muslims.

Your humanity is understandable, but letting those feelings get in the way of stamping out terrorism is not the way to win this.

Prolly something pushed out of a plane or helo at low altitude. The nose looks like a pressure valve which compresses on impact and opens what might be a mixing line coming from the rear. I don't think its for leaflets. Could be a smoke bomb, but I'm really ignorant of what's on the shelf these days.

Hmmmm My understanding of FAE is that it is dropped in a pretty big container. I don't know enough to know if they drop it in smaller loads

Yes I have a friend whose parents were born in Lebanon and she has cousins there. She and her husband travelled there 2 years ago to visit family. They are all Orthodox Christian.
