The IDF struck a propoganda blow in the UK this evening.
The London Evening Standard's late front page (not online yet) read "Human Sandbags", reporting an IDF spokesman claiming that Hizbullah are forceably placing South Lebanese families adjacent to missile launchers and accompanied by a harrowing picture of a dead child.
Let's not forget our common humanity. The deceased little girl seemed to be about the same age as my daughter (4ish). Cut me to the quick it did. As Golda Meir said "we can forgive them for killing our children but we can never forgive them for making us kill their children."
I don't see how the hezbullies placing their own children as human shields is a propoganda blow for the IDF.
Your humanity is understandable, but letting those feelings get in the way of stamping out terrorism is not the way to win this.
