"" MM...you and I may be the most disgusted with Newt..I haven't seen any other freepers that have posted much about him...but, like you, I am about to scream everytime I hear his "holier than thou" speech about what Bush SHOULD do...""
Txsleuth, I don't post very much. I mostly read. I'm posting this time to let you know, you're not alone in your opinion of Newt, as quoted above. There are more who agree with you, than you think. ;)
Israel will defeat the forces of Islamic evil.
I'm just now catching up here. I don't know if anyone answered this question of yours. Hezbollah is firing after the sun comes up because it makes it more difficult for the Israelis to determine where they are firing from. After dark, the brief light coming from the firing location can be seen.
Thanks, I'll try it.
Thank you...glad to have you in the "club"...LOL
I'm pulling my hair out trying to keep up with the pings! We have an 11 yr old boy staying with us for a couple of weeks, and computer time is cut down for us. Too darn hot outside for him to play. No really. He's used to more northern beach weather. Even though we're up 4500 ft, it's hotter than blazes. We don't even want to go into town. Heard it was 112 in Victorville, humid, and smokey from the fires.
Praise the Lord that your family is safe! I was wondering how hard it would be for them to be able to evacuate to the US in case it gets worse. You and your family have our continued prayers, Alouette. (silver lining...if they come to America, you get to hold and snuggle your grandbabies!!!)
Well, some good news at last: my son who completed his IDF service last year, is back home for a short visit.
I asked if he would go back and fight if his old unit is called up, he said "without a question!" even though there is a "slight problem" with his application for citizenship.
We are going to the baseball game this evening. GO TIGERS!!!
Very good news! I was wondering how your son was doing. Of course he would go and fight with his old unit. I hope the citizenship "issue" is cleared up soon.
Go Tigers, unless they're playing the Dodgers or Angels ;)
