I'm pulling my hair out trying to keep up with the pings! We have an 11 yr old boy staying with us for a couple of weeks, and computer time is cut down for us. Too darn hot outside for him to play. No really. He's used to more northern beach weather. Even though we're up 4500 ft, it's hotter than blazes. We don't even want to go into town. Heard it was 112 in Victorville, humid, and smokey from the fires.
Praise the Lord that your family is safe! I was wondering how hard it would be for them to be able to evacuate to the US in case it gets worse. You and your family have our continued prayers, Alouette. (silver lining...if they come to America, you get to hold and snuggle your grandbabies!!!)
Well, some good news at last: my son who completed his IDF service last year, is back home for a short visit.
I asked if he would go back and fight if his old unit is called up, he said "without a question!" even though there is a "slight problem" with his application for citizenship.
We are going to the baseball game this evening. GO TIGERS!!!
