Somebody please tell me what is funny or - more importantly - true about this cartoon.
Is this really the view of Dan Wasserman and by extension the paper he works for - the Boston Globe? Do Wasserman and the Globe really believe that, in his heart, President George W. Bush is a torture-master of medieval proportions? Do they truly think that only international agreements and court decisions stand between him and the barbarous flaying of prisoners?
Just what is the point, other than to express hatred and contempt for the sitting President of the United States?

Why do you never see cartoons of Dan Rather and Katie Couric kissing Osama bin Laden's feet?

No surprise; it's coming out of Kennedy country.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
I do. I think they really believe that President Bush would love to torture these people to death. They're so extreme.

Notice too, the subtle "Christ-like" look to the hanging prisoner. This is supposed to work subliminally on our pitiful stupid minds.

Why does Mr. Wasserman dislike President Bush? Mr. Wasserman is a putz, that's why.
How's that?

Yes. Not to mention the view of most, if not all, Democrats.

I noticed that too and was going to point it out but then saw your post. I'm sure it was done on purpose.

I just had Abu Grab thrown in my face today by an Arab co-worker. The image of us is not helped by this boob Wasserman. The Arabs will think of us this way for decades, not the least because of leftist infantilism like this.

Well that is just disgusting. I really wonder how delusional these people are. I mean, are they just trying to convince people that this is how the President is, or do they really believe it? If they believe it, they are truly crazy. John McCain and Linseed Graham were no help in this regard, by the way, with there stupid anti-degrading treatment legislation. It has always been the President's policy that we do not torture.

What's amazing is that the guy felt perfectly free to do so.
The left has done their best to destroy us.

This is relatively mild for a Wasserman cartoon. Based on past history, I would have thought he'd show the President as the torturer. He must be slipping.

Keep woman away from your Arab coworker. He just admitted he supports Bin Laden and therefore thinks rape of women is okay.
I feel bad for you working with a terrorist. Better get the replacement ready for when he does a suicide bombing.

It isn't even a good cartoon. Wasserman's art is terrible. He might as well just draw stick figures.

Well, that would be a "hate speech", of course...

Some "artist". He pretty much does draw stick figures....and a six-figure salary, too. If he weren't so reliably anti-Republican and anti-American, he couldn't get hired to design placemats for Chuck-E-Cheese.
