Reports coming in about IAF striking Beruit airport, if this is confirmed this is another sizable escalation. I think this article ought to be pinned.
PING to a photo.
Yeah Fox News are quite hopeless these days except for their morning shows.
Well I believe that the market there is closed now in Japan. So it won't go down anymore tonight if that is the case.
Here is a link to a bunch of over seas markets for those who would like to keep track:

To some extent terrorism is a threat to the established order and all incumbant governments. Saudia Arabia and Jordan have both felt its sting. Maybe Lebanon is sick of Hezzbola, too.
"What does that mean? I am completely clueless about finances."
I need to sale some stock at the end of July to pay for a family trip to Wally World in September (Disneyland). The more it drops the less my stock is worth. That's finance 101 in my home.
OK. Bookmarked.
(Adds target, casualties)
BEIRUT, July 13 (Reuters) - An Israeli helicopter fired a rocket into the building of Hizbollah television in the group's stronghold in Beirut's southern suburb on Thursday, wounding six people, witnesses and a security source said.
The raid in Haret Hreik neighbourhood which houses Hizbollah's leadership and media offices also slightly damaged al-Manar television headquarters. One of the wounded was an employee at the station, its chief said.
The strike came two hours after aircraft bombed two runways at Beirut international airport as part of an Israeli assault in Lebanon in retaliation for Wednesday's Hizbollah attacks in which two Israeli soldiers were captured and eight killed.
That's exactly why we're seeing all the provocation these days.
Our enemies in the middle east believe that we won't do them as we did Japan, or Germany, for that matter, not that we can't.
Good to see you here. What I told Dan goes for you, too! =)
I cannot believe that Fox is completely incapable of going live in this situation.
This is as big a story as it gets!
Is there a single live body in the studio in the evenings?
They just run a tape of pre-recording programs all night now these days. What a total discrace.
It is the Japan market. I guess it still is open. Maybe for another 1/2 hour?
I shudder to think of Gore or Kerry at the helm in these trying times .
LOL. Never happen. An invasion of Saudi Arabia by the US would inflame the entire Islamic world. Two of the three holiest sites in Islam are in the Kingdom.
If Iran and Syria go after Israel, they fall into a big fly trap.
If rational people were running those two countries, particularly Iran, you could well be right. But they aren't, so it is not determinant what they will do. Hitler was a fool to go into Russia...but that didn't stop him.
Surrounded with what? Target practice?
Jordan WILL NOT enter this War, luckily Hussein is too smart for that, and knows what would happen to his country...
Rare that, a Middle-Eastern Arab leader that actually CARES about his people...
The Saudis cannot get openly involved, as it's bad for business, but expect heated rhetoric...
Any idea why Southack's post was removed by the mods?
"Israeli aircraft attacked a target in the Hizbollah stronghold of Beirut's southern suburb"
When I was listening to the radio on the way home, the reporter stated that Israel had attacked a house where a terrorist meeting was taking place, focusing on "A family of 9, including 7 children were killed and a terrorsit was wounded".
So freaking what!! ...the children are terrorist larvae and the women are terrorist incubators...and they were in a house where a terrorist meeting was taking place.
So I'm thinking that the stocks I just inherited are dropping, too?
Precisely.
