I love that, Majjie. You're always so thoughtful in finding just the right graphics or words for us all.
Thank you, Dixie. A sad time for us, but there is celebration in Heaven, and I just know Maggie is reading all of our words to her and smiling. :)
She was such a beautiful person -- I saw that and I didn't know her all that well actually. I thought of another song I'd like to post in her memory -- I'll get it together and be back in a few!
I keep reading these posts from everyone and my eyes keep filling with tears.
Oh, gosh, that surely must be one of the sights Maggie is seeing now.
What a gorgeous picture. Amazing Grace indeed.
Thank you for responding, Daus. I hoped you would see my post. Hope you are doing well.
Good morning, sistah. You chose the perfect backgrounds for your tribute to Maggie today.
What beautiful sentiments, Colleen. I think she's reading them, too. :)
This song means a lot to me, and I hope it will to you, the friends and
family of LadyX, as well. God brought home a good one!!
Steven Curtis Chapman - With Hope
This is not at all how
We thought it was supposed to be
We had so many plans for you
We had so many dreams
And now you've gone away
And left us with the memories of your smile
And nothing we can say
And nothing we can do
Can take away the pain
The pain of losing you, but...
We can cry with hope
We can say goodbye with hope
'Cause we know our goodbye is not the end, oh no
And we can grieve with hope
'Cause we believe with hope
(There's a place by God's grace)
There's a place where we'll see your face again
We'll see your face again
And never have I known
Anything so hard to understand
And never have I questioned more
The wisdom of God's plan
But through the cloud of tears
I see the Father's smile and say well done
And I imagine you
Where you wanted most to be
Seeing all your dreams come true
'Cause now you're home
And now you're free, and...
We have this hope as an anchor
'Cause we believe that everything
God promised us is true, so...
We wait with hope
And we ache with hope
We hold on with hope
We let go with hope
Thank you, Mrs N. We love our Lady.

Your mom was wonderful.
Thank you, Star. It is another one I will download so I can listen to it without interruptions.
Thank you for sharing more of your mom with us, Steve. She was a rare one. Prayers for you, DaBear, your sister, your brother, and all of your family. I know the grandchildren will greatly miss their grandmother.
You are welcome.
I'll always remember her for her strength, wisdom and her great sense of humor.
I was blessed to have been able to meet her, because she gave me strength and inspiration.
Beautiful song Star.
As most here already know, Maggie and I had a spiritual connection that made us truly sisters in every sense of the word except blood (and sometimes I'm not sure about that too). My little sister, Harriet, passed away long ago, and my older sister is not close to me, so Maggie became the sister I didn't have and needed. I have not loved another female as I love her (excepting mother and grandmother). I can't explain it, nor should I even try. God brought her into my life and I am grateful. There are so many things I want to say about her and can't seem to find the words. I will post excerpts from some of the e-mails she sent to me, so she can speak for herself.
She sent me a message when I checked my e-mail this morning. She had sent me an e-mail some time back that she considered "awsome". It was a series of beautiful pictures captioned with facts from the Bible. While trying to access my incoming mail this morning, suddenly there appeared on my screen about 7 copies of that thread addressed to me from eaglesone (Maggie). My mail is in aphabetical order and the mails were out of place. Now there may be a logical explanation, but I don't want to hear it. I know it was a message from my Sistah, telling me about the beauty she is seeing right now.
This is very hard to do after reading all of these touching Posts but here goes.
LadyX and I became friends back in our days spent at the Canteen. We came to know each other very well through email as we shared our lives with each other. It was a very special relationship that I will always treasure and as Lori says am a better person for knowing her.
May her family carry the legacy of the gentle and strong Lady with them forever.
Oh Lori, I love that tribute. There are going to be so many "Keepers" on this thread. I will save the whole thread of course. I so wish that we could find some of the old threads from the Mobius trip, the clay wars, and Freeper Island (I know Billie put up one page related to FI, but we can't get to the original).
Dolly, I think I have seen everything you have posted here and on the prayer thread, and you have given much wisdom and insight. It has been so much to try and answer every post, but I do want you to know that I appreciate them.
