Bin Laden Says Will Take Fight to America
(Full Story)

Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden said his group reserved the right to fight the United States on its land and warned Washington and the world community against sending forces to Somalia, according to an Internet audio tape.

"We will fight its (U.S.) soldiers on the land of Somalia ... and we reserve the right to punish it on its land and anywhere possible," said the speaker, who sounded like the Saudi-born militant.

"We warn all of the countries in the world not to respond to America by sending international troops to Somalia," he said of the African nation where Islamists' power is rising.

Banned Islamists spawn front organisations

A British Islamist group which is to be outlawed under new anti-terror laws has already formed scores of front organisations in an attempt to ensure its survival, according to investigators in New York. Al-Ghurabaa, formed by Omar Bakri Mohammed before he fled to Lebanon in the wake of the 7/7 bombings, heads the list of four organisations which are to be proscribed under legislation which prohibits the glorification of terrorism.

However, an investigation by police in New York - where al-Ghurabaa raised funds and recruited members under another name - alleges that it has formed 81 front organisations, support groups and affiliates in six different countries. The overwhelming majority are based in London, the home counties, the Midlands, Lancashire and West Yorkshire.

Fazl calls for joint Muslim resistance: Israeli aggression against Lebanon

PESHAWAR, July 21: Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Maulana Fazlur Rehman has asked the leaders of the Ummah to dispatch their armed forces under one banner to resist the Israeli aggression against Lebanon.

Speaking at the Friday congregation at Mamakmandi mosque here, he said the Muslim countries should from a united army for ending persistent Israeli aggression and the US policy of blackmail in the Middle East. He held the US equally responsible for the current Israeli aggression in Lebanon and instability in the Middle East.

Denver Muslims Blame Israel For Ongoing Conflict

DENVER The Colorado Muslim Society in Denver believes Israel is to blame for the escalating violence.

They held a meeting Friday with the Muslim American society to discuss the conflict and the political issues involved.

The Muslims wanted to hear more support for ending the Israeli bombardment of Lebanon and criticized President Bush and the U.S. government for its support. They said Israel is responsible and America shares the blame.

A Saudi national who had been accused of threatening to bomb an airplane has been released from custody after authorities dismissed charges against him.

Perhaps those authorities were out on one of those three cocktail lunches before they made this decision? There can be no other rational reason they would do something as potentially dangerous to American citizens otherwise.

"I'll leave that to the discretion of 26 or however many grand jurors may be impaneled," Faircloth said. The grand jury should meet soon, the judge said.

Add this judge to the list of extremely questionable judges who dole out minimal sentences to child molesters, rapists, and terrorists. Was this judge appointed or elected??????

Mr Bakri Mohammed argued he should be allowed back to see his children but was turned away by British officials.

Islamic Jihad: Israel's deadliest threat

We observed a bunch of Islamic Jihadists on maneuvers, training to invade and fight Israel. They were learning how to ambush, how to kidnap. But their specialty is firing rockets, currently the crude Kassam.

Snip: UK police have arrested a British citizen on charges he operated Islamic fundamentalist websites that preached "violent jihad".

The arrest of Syed Talha Ahsan on Wednesday came at the request of the US government, which released a 14-page indictment accusing him of selling books, videotapes, audio cassettes and CD-ROMs that glorified "violent jihad in Chechnya, Bosnia, Afghanistan" and of funnelling money to groups that are deemed illegal by the federal government.

The websites including azzam.com, azzam.co.uk, qoqaz.net, and qoqaz.co.uk, tout the virtues of jihad, primarily against the West and allied nations. One web page posted soon after 11 September, 2001 saved by Archive.org includes an "urgent appeal to defend Afghanistan" and features defiant quotes from the Taliban threatening any nation that aids the US in its military operations.

(AGI) - Rome, July 21 - Four Algerian citizens have been arrested today by the Carabinieri in the province of Vicenza charged with being part of a terror cell linked to Algerian terror organization "Salafite Group for Preaching and Combat", which, in turn, has ties with Al Qaeda. The Carabinieri carried out the orders of arrest issued by Venice's investigating judge Giandomenico Gallo at the request of the local chief prosecutor. The cell had its logistical base in Vicenza and cooperated with other cells in Brescia, Naples and Salerno. "200 tribal militants surrender in Pakistan"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "QUETTA, Pakistan — About 200 militant supporters of a renegade tribal chieftain blamed for attacking security forces and the country's main gas pipelines surrendered to authorities in southwestern Pakistan on Friday, an official said.

Six commanders also surrendered, said Abdul Samad Lasi, the top government official in the region.


He said hundreds of residents witnessed the public ceremony, in which the men denounced Nawab Akbar Bugti, their chieftain who has been leading the insurgency in the district of Dera Bugti, about 180 miles southeast of the provincial capital, Quetta.

"Bugti has lost the support of his own men and now he is on the run in the mountains," he said. The government has granted amnesty to the men since they expressed regret for their actions and have agreed to obey the law."

WASHINGTON -- The Bush administration on Thursday named a Canadian citizen with high-level ties to al Qaida, Abousofian Abdelrazik, as a "specially designated global terrorist" and launched action to seize his U.S. financial assets.

Abdelrazik, who also holds Sudanese citizenship, "is known to have been a member of an extremist cell in Montreal" and had close associations with Ahmed Ressam, the convicted millennium bomber, the U.S. Treasury Department said in a statement.

"According to information available to the United States government, (Abdelrazik) has provided administrative and logistical support to al Qaida," the Treasury statement said.

"He has been identified as being close to Abu Zubayda, a former high-ranking member of the al-Qaida network, involved in recruitment and training."

Abdelrazik, 44, disappeared in 2005 shortly after appearing, by video from Montreal, as a witness in Ressam's trial for plotting to blow up the Los Angeles International Airport during millennium celebrations on New Year's Eve 1999.

According to a Canadian Security and Intelligence Service report, French judicial documents identify him as an "important Islamist activist of the international jihad."

CSIS also identifies Abdelrazik as a close associate of Odil Charkoui, a landed immigrant from Morocco who was arrested on a federal security certificate in 2003 and is now facing deportation from Canada.

"Treasury continues to take action against al Qaida and its support network," said Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Daniel Glaser. "(Abdelrazik) has been closely tied to senior al Qaida leadership. We are taking steps to inhibit his ability to harm the United States and our allies."

Abdelrazik's designation as a global terrorist enables the U.S. government to seize any of his assets and prohibit any financial transactions with a U.S. national.

The U.S. Department of the Treasury today designated Abu Sufian Al-Salamabi Muhammed Ahmed `Abd Al-Razziq, a Canadian and Sudanese citizen, for his high-level ties to and support for the al Qaida network. Today's action was taken pursuant to Executive Order 13224, which is aimed at prohibiting transactions with terrorists and their supporters and freezing their assets.

Jordanian military intelligence relayed information that Hamas had recruited a bomb team in the kingdom. It was on its way to cross into Israel for the strike. Israeli and Jordanian border troops are on a high state of preparedness. The potential targets are the southern port of Eilat, its Arava main road link to the north, the Dead Sea, or the Beit Shean Valley on the Jordan River. This information led defense minister Amir Peretz to announce the closure of the West Bank Thursday, July 20.

Israeli security officials have grounds to suspect that the latest Hamas terror initiative is coordinated with Hizballah’s war in the north via the Lebanese group’s operational officers stationed in Nablus and Gaza

The two were reportedly arrested near the beach-side Dan Hotel on Hayarkon Street in central Tel Aviv after the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) passed an intelligence alert to the Israel Police of a possible terrorist who had infiltrated Israel and was currently in central Tel Aviv.

Intelligence indicated the terrorist was headed to an entertainment establishment in Tel Aviv. Friday night is customarily the most popular time for clubbing and entertainment in Tel Aviv, Israel's largest city."

A prominent Serbian Orthodox bishop Thursday said the U.S. was allowing Islamic extremists to wage war on Christians in Kosovo by deciding not to oppose Kosovo's independence.

Kosovo is an autonomous province in Serbia with a population of about 2 million, most who are ethnic Albanian and Muslim. It is currently administered by the United Nations Interim Administrative Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK), but negotiations which began this year are expected to eventually result in independence for the province.

However, Dr. Artemije Radosavljevic on Thursday issued a warning about the prospect of and independent Kosovo.

"At a time when America is leading the free world in a global struggle against jihad terror, Kosovo-Metohija must not continue to be an exception, where for reasons we do not understand, American officials have taken the side of the criminals and jihadists," Artemije said during a news conference in Washington, D.C.
