Terrorists do not have the right to be notified that they are being investigated. Period.

>>Terrorists do not have the right to be notified that they are being investigated. Period.<<

I hope you don't expect me to disagree with that.

But, on the other hand, regular U.S. citizens who are not targets of national security related investigations have the right to be notified by subpoena when their homes or financial records are searched.

You are correct. However, the media must have something on just about every politician because we never here the word treason anymore.

I'll believe it when I see it. Judith Miller should still be staring at striped sunlight, but alas, she's not.

Who knew this guy had guts? And that he is on Bush's side?

I don't think King has any guts. He spends most of his time in a whirlwind of emotion and hysteria.

Just once, I'd like to see some heads roll in the MSM.

I don't trust politicians that say one thing and do another.

Just you wait, once Peter King finally comes back around, he'll be riding up the elevator to Pinch's executive office suite to plant his lips on Schulzberger's backside.

What ever happened with that FBI/CIA (?) leaker? I think her name was McCarthy. I haven't heard a thing about that since it first happened.

She's living in a penthouse in Las Vegas with Sandy Berger and the ghost of Howard Hughes.

;-)

I turn to the Drying Paint channel. At least there it is less predictable. And, Drying Paint has double the IQ of Juana Williams.

LOL.

Speaking of paint drying, I painted for about twenty years. Over those years I noticed that most paints of some hue, when they dried they dried slightly darker (that's why when you buy paint you should have them dry a little of it on a piece of paper before you buy it). But, little incorrigible Juan just turns a funny shade of red when Brit smacks him around the head.

;-)

I am of the opinion that the MSM is trying to goad Prez Bush into hiring a team of "Plumbers" to find the leaks and follow the path that lead to Nixon's' destruction.

Very interesting.

Just don't hire a guy like James McCord who when he saw his tape had been removed from the door jamb in the Watergate, put it back on. Double agent?

;-)

Turncoat Arlan Specter was just on FOX a moment ago speaking about this. To paraphrase him: It would be premature to make a rush to judgment over wrongdoing by the NYT, just as it would be premature in a rush to judgment of wrongdoing by the Bush administration.

It's not a coincidence that Arlen's last name sounds like Sphincter.

I am not sure just what happened or what your source is.

The solution to effectively eliminating these people is for Bush to sign a secret Executive Order authorizing the same tactics against the terrorist, ie. suspend the Geneva Conventions.

The terrorists are sadists, the newspapers will not say so.

Yup, I KNEW drying paint was not only less predictable than Juana, it IS more interesting!!

Newspapers are not allowed to do many things by law - and they know it.

No one has appointed the New York Times to the position of deciding which secrets we tell the enemy and which ones we don't. They over stepped.

IMHO they broke the law and committed treason.

They have the right to publish anything they want, but not the right to publish anything they want without consequences. If there were no consequences the New York Times could steal columns from other newspapers and publish them. The law can't stop them from publishing. But it can stop them from publishing without consequences. In this case they could be sued successfully and be forced to pay retribution. In other words, they have the right to publish other newspapers material, but not the right to do it free from the law.

It's the same with giving secrets to the enemy. They can publish the secrets. We can arrest them for treason.

We don't need to do anything "special". Just hold the New York Times to the same laws everyone else is held to ... it's that easy.
