Welcome to the Canteen Music Dedication!

We're here to provide entertainment for our Troops, Veterans, and their families!
To enjoy our dedication, you must have Flash installed on your computer. If you are interested in surfing or chatting while the jukeboxes are played, you can hold the CTRL key down while hitting the letter *N* on your keyboard. That should open a new window.

The Flash MP3 Player can be found here. Also, you will find out more about the man that created it. Thank you, Jeroen Wijering.

You must double click on the songs for many of the jukeboxes. Not all the music is appropriate for children. Please click with caution!

We welcome requests for our Troops via the thread, emailing us at musicrequests4u@gmail.com or by pinging laurenmarlowe on the thread!

We encourage everyone to support the artists and music that you hear in the Canteen, we have provided links for you on the left hand side.

And y'all needed every drop of it!
Amarillo and Lake Meredith need more because it has been rather dry there. Lake Meredith is the primary water source for Lubbock, Amarillo, and a number of towns in the South Plains and the lake is quite low.

My friend is a teacher's aide. She & her class made a little Green Bay Packer fan paper doll & sent it to Ev & asked him to take pictures of her all over his camp & send her back to them.

Here she is, shortly after arriving at camp.

Here she is with Ev, outside his barracks (she's in the window.)

>

Ev & dolly sitting on his ambulance.

Dolly "driving" the ambulance.

Dolly being transported in the ambulance.

I'm repeating this one from the old thread because it's my favorite.:)

Greetings Freeper Canteeners, it's Friday so that must mean it is time for the Friday Flyby. Tonight the Flyby will feature some pic from a folder I have entitled "Legacy Flights". The USAF and the US Navy have been sponsoring what they call Heritage or Legacy flights. Generally speaking this is a flight at an airshow that features a generational mix of aircraft. I will let the pics do the talking from here on out.

First up the B-17 and the B-52.

A pair of attack specialist are next on the parade, the A-10 Warthog and the aircraft that defined Close Air Support in Korea and Vietnam, the A-1 Skyraider.

3 Generations are represented in the next picture. The P-47 and the P-51 represent the 40's, the F-4 take a bow for the 60's and for the 80's the F-16.

The last 3 generations of USAF fighter are in the this pic.

A 4 generation flight in this pic, WW-II, Korea, Vietnam and the present.

I just like this last pic so I saved it for last :-)

Y'all have a great weekend and we will be back tomorrow night with some more Legacy pics.

Regards
