I don't mind them going to Canada - as long as Canada keeps them.

Good riddance.

Of course, you KNOW, when they (unfortunately) return, one or more will use their "marriage" to challenge the [un]acceptance of their union here in our courts

Stupid Canadians.

That is why I stopped being proud of my heritage (both parents from Montreal) a LONG time ago.

Gee, I wonder how they will be received by the Islamofacist?

What does the Koran say about gay marriage?

I know what they do to adulterers: Bury them up to their necks and stone them to death.

Turn the tables.

Promote America to Canadian couples who want to get married with a clean marriage licence that homosexuals can't get.

We could suggest that the Tourism Commission hand its project over to the Immigration Commission.

Am I mistaken or have you inserted your own comments into the body of the article?

The article at the link looks like this...

The Canadian Tourism Commission wants to attract same-sex couples to Canada.

The agency has launched an advertising blitz in the United States to woo gay couples to tie the knot in Canada.

Yesterday, Justice Minister Vic Toews wouldn't comment on the campaign.

But Toews says Prime Minister Stephen Harper has promised a free vote on same-sex marriage in the fall.

A clever response immediately suggested itself to me when I read the headline. Fortunately I saw that it or something like it had popped up in the minds of everyone else who read the headline and, for once, I avoid redundancy.

The Canadian Tourism Commission wants to attract samesex couples to Canada.

Change that: Canadian Tourism wants to attract Christian, married couples to Canada.

There , thats better.

But is canada warning that those marriages will not be recognized in the USA? Not even Mass unless they are BOTH Mass. residents.

That Canadian homosexual marriages are not allowed for USA visa purposes?

Is canada so desperate that they need to attract 2% of the population at the expense of family tourism from the other 98%?

This program was not approved to make money for canaduh, it was approved to push an agenda.

What 200+ posts and no references to the Lumberjack Song???

FR must have been taken over by Gen Z or something, freakin' youngsters!

I'm a lumberjack
And I'm ok
I sleep all night and I work all day
(He's a lumberjack
And he's ok He sleeps all night and he works all day)

I cut down trees
I eat my lunch
I go to the lavatry'
On Wednesdays I go shopping
and have buttered scones for tea
(He cuts down trees
He eats his lunch
He goes to the lavatry'
On Wednesdays He goes shopping
and has buttered scones for tea
I cut down trees)

I'm a lumberjack
And I'm ok
I sleep all night and I work all day
I cut down trees
I skip and jump
I like to press wild flowers
I put on womens' clothing and hang around in bars
(He cuts down trees
He skips and jumps
He likes to press wild flowers
He puts on womens' clothing and hang around in bars?)

I'm a lumberjack
And I'm ok
I sleep all night and I work all day
I cut down trees
I wear high heels
Suspendies' and a bra
I wish I'd been a girly
Just like my dear pa-pa
(He cuts down trees
He wears high heels?)

(He's a lumberjack
And he's ok He sleeps all night and he works all day
He sleeps all night and he works all day)
