...we came, we saw, we shredded some more...
Operation Simply Shred II went into effect at 9:30 am this morning of May 27, 2006 with the opening of the 2006 Memorial Day Airshow at the Columbia Regional Airport.
If anyone remembers last Memorial Day weekend in 2005, Operation Simply Shred was a success and had the local moonbats, especially the chief honco, Mark Haim, going rabid over what we were doing to his precious yellow pamplets..
Four FReepers were there to put the Operation into effect: Bluesagewoman, Gulfwar1vet, Prov3456, and Bogeyman.

BTW...The idea and planning of Operation Simply Shred belongs TOTALLY to Bluesagewoman. She is the POC behind all of this and she should get the recognition and praise. The rest of the FReepers that helped out yesterday and today are there to help her out and we did so with great glee and determination to FReep those moonbats out of their moonbatty minds. And you know what? I think we did a great job at it! LOL

Is that supposed to be original? A guy on pointe? My daughter's ballet teacher in Topeka, KS put a guy on pointe to play Bottom in Midsummer Night's Dream years ago.

I tossed that out as a little sniping at the professional plaudits of the choreographer/agitator, but having brought up my daughter's ballet school on a Memorial Day thread, I can't help but add, that among those we are remembering today is one Kyle Thomas, sometime of the Metropolitan Ballet of Topeka (where he did learn to dance on pointe), who later danced professionally for the Pennsylvania Ballet. Subsequently he married one of the women from the Topeka company, shortly before enlisting in the Army. He gave his life in service of his country, killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq.
