A representative from Mexican President Vicente Fox claims that if the US National Guard troops detain illegal aliens crossing the US-Mexico border, the Fox government will file a lawsuit against the Bush Administration in US federal court. There are some political observers who believe that the American Civil Liberties Union is preparing to assist the Mexican government in such a lawsuit. In fact, the ACLU sent a statement to the Mexican government regarding their stance on immigration enforcement.
As Congress moves forward to reform our nations immigration laws, the ACLU said the US must reject measures that threaten to increase the bloodshed on our borders. "Innocent peoples lives and liberty should not be threatened by this dangerous deployment," said ACLU Director Anthony Romero.
Following President Bush's speech on Monday night, the American Civil Liberties Union urged the president and congress to reject any measures that fail to uphold the letter and spirit of our laws and encouraged lawmakers to adopt immigration reform that protects the freedom and privacy of all in America. Conservatives are wholeheartedly in favor of upholding the "letter of the law," but it's the so-called "spirit of the law" that leads to the problems in the US on a multitude of issues, they say.
"Turning immigration enforcement policy into another military operation is not the answer. The presidents proposed deployment of National Guard troops violates the spirit of the Posse Comitatus Act, which prohibits the military from getting into the business of civilian law enforcement," says Romero.
Mr. Romero failed to mention how National Guard troops are routinely deployed fully armed for disasters such as Katrina or terrorist attacks such as 9-11. In fact, during riots and other dangerous incidents, Guard troops are deployed without hesitation on the part of elected officials.

Florida has a bunch of alligators they don't want in the everglades.
Lets bring them to the border states between Mexico and America.
I honestly believe the government does not have an idea how grave the situation is.""
The ivory towers that politicians live and work in are far removed from the rest of us citizens.
I am about ready for a total war on this issue. Lock and Load.
In the last 40 years, I believe that over 40 million illegal intruders have come into the USA. This current proposal calls for over 200 million coming in in the next 20 years. If I do my math correctly that is a 10 fold increase, not counting the births of their babies inside our borders.
We cannot build schools or train "teachers" faster than they can step across the border.
We cannot build hospitals and train medical personnel faster than they can step across the border.
We cannot build prisons and jails and train law enforcement officers faster than they can step across the border.
We cannot build fire stations and train fire personnel faster than they can step across the border.
For many of us here, hoping we get good medical care without undue waiting, get well educated students who are ONLY learning in English, amd feel safe in our homes and businesses with rapid responses from the LEO's, this influx of 200 million people over 20 years is an unacceptable idea.
Lock and Load, I think we will need it. Buy your ammo now.
Now I just teach and grade. "
Correction: Now you just grade and pass them on.
..."Congress provided in the Civil Rights Act of 1866 declaring persons born in the US who are subject to a foreign power are deemed to be non-citizens of the United States"............
Liz,
that I didn't know.
"The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of 'liberalism' they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."
Their goal has always been the destruction of the US, from the get-go.
Fox is standing in Mexico and the ACLU is standing on the wrong side of the law again.
They will use the Civil Rights Act as a means to seek private enforcement of the Posse Comitatus Act.
Man that's some reading.
I'll save for later.
Still should be posted again.
Often problems have easy solutions, yours is a good idea.
"Make it a trifecta with a DNC mug !"
The Evil Whining Triangle: ACLU, DNC and Islamofascists
Ruben Aguilar, spokesman for President Vicente Fox, made this statement to support the marches: "The recent protests carried out in different places in the United States are indicative of the imminent necessity of a migratory accord that corresponds to the interests of both countries, and that especially to the defense of the rights of migrants. The government of the (Mexican) Republic ratifies its commitment to the Mexicans who live in the United States and its intention to work in the defense of their rights ..."
This is a direct violation of the Vienna Convention that prohbits foreign nationals from interferring in the political affairs of a host country. The Department of State's legal affairs office has stated that foreigners on American soil interfering in the internal affairs of the US is inconsistent with the 1963 Vienna Convention that prohibits visiting foreigners from interferring in the affairs of host countries.
The ACLU is the last bastion of homosexuals, pedophiles freaks, the scum of society and Mexican wetbacks.
Build "the fence" and drape their carcasses over the wire -- as a warning to the others. That's how the locals in NM deal with the four-legged variety of varmint...
On hwy 180 east out of Carlsbad, (toward hobbs and Texas) I've seen nearly a continuous mile of fence so "decorated"...
"Dual citizenship is only possible when a U.S. citizen acquires another country's citizenship or when, as in the Mexican case, another nation's laws maintain a link with a person beyond their U.S. naturalization. Some object to that, citing the naturalization oath's phrase "I hereby renounce and abjure any and all foreign princes, potentates, states, or sovereignties." Those who swear the oath become U.S. citizens.

They were correct in their evaluation and very successful in their plan. They use the freedoms of this country to destroy those freedoms. They use our money, via government jobs, union dues, taking over foundations, trusts, etc., to do it.
We all need to dig up these facts, such as you have done with the ACLU, and see that they get wide exposure. The birth of labor unions, the Frankfurd Group, etc., are examples. David Horowitz does a lot of good work also. We need to reference him often.
There are too many people today who were educated by the leftist schools and the MSM, and far too few who remember the lessons learned in the '40s and '50's about Communism. Today is a replay and acceleration of the tactics of the '60s.
I intended #94 for you also.
Wait til we start deporting 1/3 of California prisons back to Mexico.
Thanks to the Clinton administration and their supporters we do have a much better solution to the illegal immigration problem then Bush will admit: |

Senator Specter, did the attorney general do the right thing going in and seizing this boy? |
The show of force and the rule of law |
SEN. ARLEN SPECTER, R-Pennsylvania: Well, let me say at the outset that I think Elian should have been reunited with his father at the earliest possible time and that there was no basis for asylum, which can be granted only if there is a fear of persecution. cont. |
?Que? I thought the human suffering came in by letting poor, illegal squatters cross the hot, thirsty desert. By having our Guards pick them up, they're saving lives!
Message to Fox: Screw you.
When that happens please let us know Karl..WHy not send the Mexican gangs back across the border...
[...the ACLU said the US must reject measures that threaten to increase the bloodshed on our borders. "Innocent peoples lives and liberty should not be threatened by this dangerous deployment...]
What bloodshed? This is a statement for international consumption.
My understanding is that the national guard will be unarmed and deployed for construction... Probably a fence building deployment.
The Senate voted to build a fence that would help protect communities from drug runners and funnel illegals toward border guards.
