If we are keeping him alive in prison for 40 years because he "wants" death, then that would constitute cruel and unsual punishment to torture him with life in prison.

ABC radio news on the hour reported that after the verdict was read, Moussaoui flashed the victory sign and said "America, you lose". He was reported to have "prayed" before the verdict.

Carrie Lemack is one of the "Peaceful Tomorrows" crowd. I could have done without her little "bad American govt" speech...
I'd like to see some investigation into whether these 'family members' spokesgals were organized by the Bratweiser liberal opportunist group.
I strongly doubt that these 3 women actually speak for most of the family members. She seemed to have all the A.N.S.W.E.R.S.

His outbursts in court prove there was no change of heart, no hesitation about the attacks.

But Mohammed got DEATH here in VA. Why they are even having this kangaroo court of a trial in Maryland is beyond me - tremendous waste of time and taxpayer's money. But that's Monkey County!

And I doubt he'll be babied at Canon City, don't you?

He said "YOU LOST, I WON" and then clapped his hands. Jury had left the room at that point.I thought I heard that but wasn't sure. Well now, that just proves it beyond a shadow of a doubt.....Moussaoui is pleased with the verdict and that should be upsetting to everyone who cares about this country and the victims and their families of 9/11.

I respect your opinion but disagree. Our prison system is more humane than any in the world. He will be kept alive for many years at taxpayers' expense, access to books, mail, medical attention, 24/7 protection from those who would harm him, legal counsel, etc, etc. If he were to be denied any form of human contact for the rest of his life, I could accept that, but that won't happen.
To me, the deprivation of life is the ultimate punishment. But that's just me.
