This should be a list of who is planning to close their business on Monday, May 1 in response of the Great American Boycott. We should compile it and boycott them ourselves if possible!
Remember to go shopping or work overtime on May 1!
I just called Papa John's, they answered and I said I'm thinking about ordering a pizza, do you have or support illegal aliens there...?
Young gringo girl said "ah, no".
I said "Ok, I'll order a Pizza then".
She was speechless the whole time until she said the amount and was stunned after that...
HE HE HE HE HE HE
Nancy Grace discusses illegal immigration? My God - what does that sound like?
Walk away from the tv...walk away from the tv...
Lou Dobbs is one of the most devoted anti-illegal spokesmen out there. I don't always agree with him- but he's taken a stand on this and I respect him for sticking to his guns.
You've hit a grand slam today!
Standing O for you!
WOOO HOOO!!
Haven't seen her but from your description I'm not missing much. :-)
To be more clear, the hiring of Geraldo and Gretta was the start of Fox's cessation of being a serious news organization. Brit Hume is now the only person on the network that does not engage in sensationalistic reporting. It doesn't lean to the left as much as the others so at least it is a little more tolerable.
Well, I just got home and during the whole 15-mile drive, I saw ONE Mexican resturaunt closed. EVERYTHING ELSE was still open. Pawn shops, gas stations, Taco Bells, etc.
Looks like they failed to rally their, "Troops."
BWAAAHAHAHAAA!!!
Here's a snip from an e-mail I have been sharing with some of my friends this evening. This was my personal experience this afternoon.
"And how was YOUR day??
My day was not effected by today's goings on. Okay, traffic was lighter, I
got to work and home quicker than usual. The custodial staff at work all
showed up for their jobs. I didn't need to bring in the emergency roll of
toilet paper from the truck. They are well liked and payed well. Why would
they risk losing their jobs?
Yep, my day was a normal one.
Until..........
I was driving through town on the interstate on my way home. There's this
one bridge over the interstate that has pedestrian walkways on both sides
with a safety screen mesh. There they were, standing around doing nothing,
waving their flags and banners.
Because of their display, traffic ahead of me was slowing from the posted 60
MPH. This gave me ample time to power the moon roof open, toot my horn and
give them a "wave". Normally, I would have just ignored them. But this
bridge is special.
In the days and weeks following 9/11, an older Vet stood on that same
bridge, with his American flag, holding a salute for several hours a day
during the afternoon rush. He was a real trooper. After about four weeks of
this, he was told by "authorities" that he could no longer be there.
It turned out that his "display" was visable to some tennants of a nearby
apartment complex and they complained. They complained, because they were
offended by this hero's display of patiotism.
Somali Muslims.
The bastards on the bridge today were lucky. Fortunate that they only got my
middle finger in response to their display..........."
"Oh boy is this great" :-)
Geraldo just wants to be loved.
"Did anyone else's city have a candlight vigil?"
Grand Rapids, MI is having two candlelight vigils tonight.
Greta gets high ratings in viewership.
I sometimes watch her...lol.
NBC national news has one of their guys here re the border blockage and march
Well, PETA will be delighted that the major meat packers are closed today.....
That's scary. I recently heard from someone I met at work who is married to a Mexican that many Mexicans have a dormant kind of tuberculosis. At least it is dormant as long as they take medication to keep it so.
I LOVE IT!
Thanks for posting.
Our local talk show host put out a call for any Mom and Pop Mexican joints that were open. He gave them free advertising, and called for as many as could to go there for dinner and spend money! It was great!!!
Sympathetically?
