The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic invites all FReepers and lurkers in good standing to join us this Saturday outside Bethesda Naval Hospital as we defend the honor of our sailors and Marines from the despicable Fred Phelps and his traveling freak show laughable called the Westboro Baptist Church.

The Montgomery County police will be there to make sure everyone's rights are protected. The Phelps crew will do their schtick from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. We'll be there early to set up and be prepared for their arrival.
When: 11:45 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2006
Where: Bethesda Naval Hospital, Wisconsin Avenue and Jones Bridge Road.
Bring: American and service flags, and signs bearing messages of support for our sailors and Marines.
Travel, parking: The nearest Metro station is Bethesda-NIH on the Red Line. Street parking is available in side neighborhoods. The best parking areas are on Brandt Place, Glenbrook Parkway and Maryland, in that order. They are off of Jones Bridge Road about 500 feet from the corner we'll be at.
As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.

My my, but these pinheads DO get around. They just got dwarfed at a funeral in Missouri a couple days ago. They even hit a cop with their van as they were leaving. These vermin are totally insane and completely OUT OF TOUCH with God. Be careful, you guys.

They're targeting the service hospitals because of the laws being passed around the country restricting/banning protests at military funerals.
Even these animals know very well that attacking soldiers or miners is no way to preach against homosexuality or the agenda. It is an angle to get money.
