On a recent edition of the nationally-televised TV show “Fox News Sunday” (4/2/06), neoconservative warmonger William Kristol, Editor of the “Weekly Standard” magazine, admitting that he is “soft on illegal immigration,” said: “I’m a liberal on immigration. I mean, I think the Bush approach is right.” Regarding the millions of illegal immigrants who have violated the law and invaded our country, he added: “What damage have they done that’s so great in 20 years?….What’s happened that’s so terrible in the last 20 years? Is the crime rate up in the United States in the last 20 years?….And they’ve been contributing to the U.S. economy and not damaging U.S. society.”

Damage? How about more than fifty percent unemployment for our youth?
They're doing the jobs our kids used to do; heck, what I used to do when I started working, what my friends do, and what none of our children can now get jobs doing because there are illegals there doing the job.
That's damage that lasts generations.
Well for one thing c. a dozen southern California emergency rooms have had to close because illegals just overwhelmed the system.
That means American tax payers who paid for those emergency rooms are now without emergency room care in that area.
No suprise, Bill Kristol also supports John "Amnesty" McCain for President...
Perhaps he ought to come to Phoenix. Once we were one of the safest cities in the US. Now we have the highest crime rate in the US, disease is rampant, rapes, murders and breakins are everywhere, the schools are overcroweded with students who do not speak english and now Arizona is 49th in the nation for education. No harm? What total ignorance.

Anyone who asks blithely, "what harm have they done" obviously does not live in a neighborhood that has been overwhelmed by them.

He should ask those americans who live on or near the border that live in fear of the drug dealers and many other criminals that constantly barge thru their property and sometimes in their homes, leaving destruction and thousands of dollars of damage.

I don't see what harm a burglar in Wyoming has done to me in GA either. What has he done? Nothing to me! I don't see what a bank robber in Colorado does against me either. Or what vote rigging in Washington state does to me.
Just because he doesn't feel the pinch doesn't mean it's not pinching.
