Maybe Bush is better than Clinton

I have a few thoughts for you in response to some letters of late.

The voices now crying for the impeachment of Bush were silent during Waco, Elian Gonzales and the first World Trade Center attack, Ruby Ridge and the bombing of the U.S.S. Cole.

Their favorite president presided over the the largest bubble burst in U.S. economic history (DOT.COM).

China, India and Pakistan get nukes. The U.S. bombed Yugoslavia for weeks; hit the Chinese embassy and killed thousands of untold civilians.

The U.S. did a lot of bombing from 30,000 feet because Clinton was afraid to lose one soldier. With no U.N. backing then, the world and our enemies saw that as a cowardly way to fight a war.

Two of our embassies were bombed in Africa. The media marveled at the “charisma” of the man while al Qaeda plotted and planted terrorists.

Yes, these voices were silent. Don’t get me wrong, the Clinton administration was not the enemy, but there are some ramifications for it’s existence. Bush seems to have a lot of vocal critics and a lot of quiet supporters.

I believe giving 50 million people the chance to be free, is honorable. To ski and dance and worship how they choose (Afghanistan is still working on this).

Before everyone gives up on Iraq, people need to think about what country is geographically between Iraq and Afghanistan.

It is not a coincidence Iran is testing missiles that could be used against their neighbors – they would do that anyway. The Iraqi people are standing tall. Iran and other countries have been sending thugs and terrorists who, when they cannot successfully engage Americans, target Iraqi civilians.

To all those who think it is okay to “tag” Stop (Bush) signs, do not worry. Bush will be gone in a few years. We may then get another president who wants to “make friends” with our enemies. We will leave Iraq in defeat, as cowards like our brave soldiers were forced to do in Somalia.

World peace will become a reality and poverty will cease overnight as soon as our American women agree to wear Burkas. This has been a religious war for our enemies for generations.

I’m proud of our volunteer forces. They were finally allowed to make a stand, and are doing well.

I believe that most of us can agree on the premise of his title.

"Maybe Bush is better than Clinton"

Ruby Ridge, Idaho.

yes, it happened until Bush41. Ruby Ridge is a tragic example of the evil side of many in government. Vicki Weaver was assinated by Ron Horiuchi. Ron was at Waco too. It is terrible when criminals kill the innocent, but when it's done by those with badges, it is pure evil. I pray there is a special place in Hell for Horiuchi. How that POS can go home and face his family with a clear conscience is amazing. He is a sadistic soulless cretin. Damn, after all this years, it still makes my blood boil to know how criminally our government agents acted.

Hey Paul.....China couldn't DELIVER nukes to our mainland UNTIL Clinton let his major fundraiser, Bernard Schwartz of Loral give that help to the Chinese Communists!!!

I'm puzzled by the "ski" comment. Is there a lot of skiing in Iraq? Perhaps there are some resorts I'm not familiar with. Maybe a fun place to take the kids.

Yeah...if Bush is a shrub, then Clinton is Moss on the ground, or being the triangulating kind of guy he is...always seaking to stay on the North side of trees!

The voices were still silent even if GHWB was President at that time. And the sniper walked under Clinton. And I believe even was deployed at the Waco seige.

I think the best answer to your queries as to why so many were silent during Slimey Bill's tenure was a comment by Janeane Garofalo. When asked why if she is so anti-war why she didn't speak out during America's now indefinite incursion into Kosovo, she replied, "It wasn't hip".

What more need be said regarding the liberal mindset?

"He's only off by about 30 years."

China was about 30 years behind the US in delivery systems technology until the fat liar came into office.

Maybe water skiing ?

I do not know of snow skiing in Iraq.

There might be snow skiing in Afghanistan, Iran and/or Jordan...

Not only the technology but India and Pakistan both detonated nuclear weapons in the 1990s in spite of a global ban for such testing.

"Maybe Bush is better than Clinton."

Not much of a compliment. Those in the worse than Clinton group, could hold a get together party in a phone booth.

If Clinton were president right now, and doing the exact same things that Bush is doing, Clinton would be lauded as a great president by the MSM.

A simple, understandable point—yet somehow lost on so many.

If the populace can be patient and allow the forces to do their job without the constant bitching, we could achieve a victory in the WOT and President Bush would be considered a geopolitical genius!!!

"Maybe Bush Is Better Than Clinton."

It is not "good" to be "better than the worst."
