Mr. President, I thank Senator Leahy, ranking member on the Judiciary Committee. I have received just this afternoon in my office some disturbing news in the form of correspondence from the Congressional Budget Office. It suggests a number of areas where the amendment we are talking about here today, No. 3424, the immigration so-called compromise, violates our budget and the rules of the Senate. Let me read from the correspondence we have received. This is something, as you know, Mr. President, as a member of the Judiciary Committee, that we never discussed at all. It is not a matter we spent any time at all discussing as we moved forward with legislation which ultimately cleared that committee and came to the floor legislation which I thought was not good legislation and which I opposed, and so did the Senator from Texas, who just relinquished the Chair. We didn't discuss the financial impact of the legislation before us. Stand Up For America ! |

We finally got a couple of inches in the past week and a half. It's been bad and the fleas have been terrible, poor Piper! I hate putting all those poisons on him.
They are finally allowing the ranchers to do some burning.

Illegal Alien theft of Social Security Numbers - especially those belonging to children.
DOBBS: This nation's illegal alien crisis has triggered a serious nationwide identity theft crisis. And when our officials talk about identity theft, they seldom mention illegal immigration and the role it's playing.
We need everyone to contact Rep Tancredo's office and ask them to pass on the message that we want an alternative view presented in this debate. We are tired of only one sided views being heard on this subject. The more people to contact him the more he'll realize this is a great idea.
See all the government branches involved in this travesty of haranguing the MM is coming to light, they are all showing their true colors on how they feel
For show my friend, to sneak the bill through my friend and to screw us playing nice and magnanimous with MsM
A protest against illegal immigration, whose supporters are pictured here, turned into a shouting match when it met supporters of undocumented workers near the US Congress, days before the Senate debates a controversial reform
Immigration rights opponent Augustina Kistner wears sunglasses painted with an American flag during a rally in Washington, May 12, 2006. U.S. President George W. Bush and many members of the Republican-led U.S. Congress are divided over how to address the issue of up to 12 million illegal immigrants working in the United States, with conservatives pressing for tougher border security.
An anti immigration rights supporter is seen through a U.S. flag during a rally in Washington, May 12, 2006.
Which pictures do they think Americans would rather see?! How stoopid MsM is!!!
If our benevolent elected leaders haven't learned anything from the recent events, they never will. The wakeup call had to be overwhelming. I'd be just happy to know, if we played a teenie weenie part, that help sound the alarm.
