SENATOR SESSIONS ON SECURING AMERICA'S BORDERS ACT Mr. President, I thank Senator Leahy, ranking member on the Judiciary Committee. I have received just this afternoon in my office some disturbing news in the form of correspondence from the Congressional Budget Office. It suggests a number of areas where the amendment we are talking about here today, No. 3424, the immigration so-called compromise, violates our budget and the rules of the Senate. Let me read from the correspondence we have received. This is something, as you know, Mr. President, as a member of the Judiciary Committee, that we never discussed at all. It is not a matter we spent any time at all discussing as we moved forward with legislation which ultimately cleared that committee and came to the floor legislation which I thought was not good legislation and which I opposed, and so did the Senator from Texas, who just relinquished the Chair. We didn't discuss the financial impact of the legislation before us. Stand Up For America !

Hey piper I should have pinged you to this before, maybe this will add to the great job you are doing.
http://www.rollye.net/
We listen to Rollye every night, she is fighting the illegal battle.
Rollyes site, here is a snip...wish you could here her.
APRIL 20, 2006 1:50 AM (ET) Well we survived April 19th (a day of infamy from the Battle of Lexington and Concord to the Murrah Federal Building Collapse (with a lot inbetween like FDR taking us off the gold standard and the attack on the Branch Davidian compound). Of course, we're not out of the woods yet, as the date later turned out to be instrumental in the planning of numerous atrocities from Ruby Ridge to Columbine to the return of Elian Gonzalez. Hopefully we're not simply unaware of what's to come. Of things we are aware (like the Senate's lack of interest in truly securing our borders), it's bad enough. But in case you want to hear how it could be worse, check out the show tonight and hear how bad it might get, and hopefully how to make it better.
Larry Nichols joins me. He's the guy who told the world all about Bill Clinton before most people knew his name-- and I do mean all about him-- the Gennifer Flowers story, Hillary's cattle futures, Whitewater, among other tidbits like the strange Arkancide demises of Bill & Hill's detractors and he continues to come up with information that ultimately proves correct. Now he says he's got Senator Clinton's FBI files, and will tell you all about Hillary. He'll also give you insight into why we're not securing the borders and hopefully provide direction on what you can do to change that. Join Larry and me for the entire show, tonight from 10 to 1 (ET).
APRIL 19, 2006 2:00 AM (ET) Secure the border first then worry about illegal immigration, and if you aren't concerned about a dangerous trend in that arena let me mention the latest charter school in Phoenix-- the one that's building a private university for illegal immigrants. You think I'm making this up, but I've got details-- involving Peru's Catholic University. But we're too busy fighting in the middle east to notice-- oh, have you heard that the Taliban regained control of Afghanistan? Misplaced priorities tonight at 10. Call, write, fax, visit your senators today. Keep reading for all the contact info. Thanks

Larry Nichols is on the radio again, Rollye James show, I have her on XM 165, here is a link...

Larry is now saying to call the White House, not once but 10 times a day and get as many people as you can to do the same.
When you call the White House tell them Larry Nichols has there FBI file and will release it. LOL
Larry says hillary is a dike and switch hitter. LOL
There is an account in the Cayman Islands under Chelsea (however they spell that childs name)Jefferson where the clintoons are putting millions of dollars.
He just came on the show talking about the first time he was hired to get clintoon elected. Larry said billy was a pot smoking hippie, they put him on camera and had him practice lying.
The first time Larry met Hillary she had drity hair, unslaved legs and underarms. This is on the radio I am not making this up. FITFLOL Larry also says he has the FBI files and will not let Hillary get elected.

SAD, SAD NEWS
WASHINTON WIRE
May 11, 2006, 9:12 pm
Bushs Approval Rating Drops
President Bushs job-approval rating has fallen to its lowest mark of his presidency, according to a new Harris Interactive poll. Of 1,003 U.S. adults surveyed in a telephone poll, 29% think Mr. Bush is doing an excellent or pretty good job as president, down from 35% in April and significantly lower than 43% in January.
Roughly one-quarter of U.S. adults say things in the country are going in the right direction, while 69% say things have pretty seriously gotten off on the wrong track. This trend has declined every month since January, when 33% said the nation was heading in the right direction. Iraq remains a key concern for the general public, as 28% of Americans said they consider Iraq to be one of the top two most important issues the government should address, up from 23% in April. The immigration debate also prompted 16% of Americans to consider it a top issue, down from 19% last month, but still sharply higher from 4% in March. (Emphasis added)
The Harris poll comes two days after a downbeat assessement of Bush in a New York Times/CBS News poll. The Times, in analyzing the results, said Americans have a bleaker view of the countrys direction than at any time in more than two decades.

What to add to The Thread That Wouldn't Die...
How 2006 saw more Americans were forced to choose between the politically-correct version of reality that they've been spoon-fed by the MSM and the NEA for over twenty-five years (Diversity = Divinity) or the realization that their social system is crumbling, their property values are decreasing and too many people around them are not speaking English?
How most of their representatives mouth soothing nothings while trying to play both sides against the middle in an environment where Statesmen are marginalized, scorned and eventually ridden out on a rail - one either "plays ball" or finds the other team took it and went home?
Or should we shudder at how, despite volumes of calls, letters and emails from constituents opposing amnesty our reps remain determined (goaded?) to pass one at the very peril of their reelections?
Setting aside the usual compromising strong-arm tactics from monied interests and career scumbags (cough, cough, swimmer) what sword is hanging over primarily conservative politicians that makes the open border crowd so cocksure that they can run roughshod over the will of the majority of the citizens?

May I make a suggestion? One that La Enchiladita has already made on a few threads? Thanks L.E.!!
We have been extremely angry and upset over the illegal alien problem and it's appearances that nothing is being done to stop the flood right?
We including myself have posted in anger.
However may I suggest that there are dissenters, interlopers who are making every attempt to discredit us and our posts and water down our message by coming on the threads and do their Bush-bashing accusations against us routine which in turn brings out the goody-two-shoes and holier-than-thou posters and make every attempt to discredit us.
Let us not accept that anymore!
The one thing I have never done is to say anything against the President, angry with Specter/Graham etc yes but never against the President and never will even after his speech on Monday. That is strictly playing into the hands of the goody-two-shoes.
If you are on a thread and our anger is beginning to get the better of us FRiends shut us down, you have my permission too do it to me.
This subject this issue is very emotionally charged and our anger is well deserved but we need to NOT Play into the hands of the open border rahrah cheerleaders who are just baiting us to get us banned.
Don't give them any reason to accuse us of being Bush-bashers. Because they are absolutely 100% wrong! No "I" word should ever be acceptable. We are Americans, we are Republicans as much as they are and we will prove it with respect!!

Great post!!
Many long term Freepers are coming on the immigration threads and bashing us all for "trying to impeach Bush" the message is being lost, most think we are planted Dems or space cases.
The border issues are frustrating, and more so for those of us who have lived on the border for years and have an understanding of the situation that those don't live on the border don't have. Remember the media would not report on border issues until recently- so many have no idea what is really happening on the border. Let's try to educate others about the issues and not get flame wars going if at all possible.
I know it is irritating when someone who lives far from the border tries to tell you that you are wrong about things you see every day. That has really had me angry lately, I would never think I could know more from media reports and politicians than people who live with the issues every day- but many do.
We need to fall back on tried and true Freeper ways, before you make a post, do some research to see if what you are posting is accurate as far as you can tell, and the source is reliable and trusted. When you post an article point out sources in the article, and the main points. Then when countering someone else's post do so with facts and figures, not with anger and insults.
I was about to lose it last week when several posters were trying to tell me all the enforcement happening on the border and how things are getting better- I can tell if border policies are working or by looking out my kitchen window, and I know many of you can too. We just need to remember those who only know what they are told about the border can be educated if we go about it the right way.
We will need the support of every person we can get in order to make real changes in the border issues.

Please tune in to the Minuteman rally!
The enemy pro-invaders are chanting and screaming, which I know pleases several so-called conservatives on FR, some of whom even quote marxist organizations like SPLC in their attacks on our patriot Minutemen.
The discussions here in recent days have shown the true colors of the cadre of disruptive FReepers who steadfastly attempt to suppress our freedom of speech on the illegal invasion, using the same fascist techniques and buzzwords of the marxist leftists.
We should not be receiving attacks from within our own ranks. Nevertheless, we are surviving thus far and we will continue in the spirit of the First Amendment.
