The Defense Department big shot recently scoured Sen. Clinton personal financial filings - which are required by Senate rules and publicly available.
The records contain information about her investments and debts, including ex-president hubby Bill Clinton's income and speaking fees.
U.S. Joint Forces Command Deputy Legislative Director Cordell Francis dug through Clinton's records a week after news broke last month that Bill had advised Dubai leaders on how to navigate U.S. political concerns over its ports deal, Senate records show.
Francis was required to register his personal data with the Senate in order to access Clinton's records. The Post reviewed a list of people who had accessed the senator's documents.
The former first lady serves on the Senate Armed Services Committee. But Francis had no interest in poking around the personal treasure troves of any of the 23 other committee members, records show.
Clinton's personal money filings extensively outline her hubby's financial windfall through his close ties to Dubai officials.
They show Bubba raked in $300,000 for a chat-fest at the Science, Technology and Arts Royal Summit in Dubai in 2002.
But the former commander-in-chief was on the military's side in trumpeting the benefits of the now-scuttled sale of part of New York's port and operations in five other U.S. harbors - while the senator was one of its key congressional critics.
One possible explanation for Francis' interest could be Clinton's membership since 2004 in the Joint Forces Command advisory group. That requires her to fork over personal information for a background check.

Thanks, Quilla. Hillary is the stuff legends are made of, ain't she?
So. What are the odds they were probing to find out if she reimbursed costs associated with a government owned helo? Hell, anything's possible with that little she-God.
Legends? I would have chosen nightmares.
:P
Only after her and her husband saw fit to recommend the closing of Griffiss Air Force Base in Rome, New York during their time in the White House. It was one of the biggest employers in the area and the place hasn't been the same since. She's a hypocrite.
I saw that, and I'd like to know who, exactly, credits her with that? The reporter?
Ach, mein kankles!
Here's a more pertinent question: WHY DIDN'T ANY OF THESE "Investigative Journalists" DO THIS!!??!!??
Old habits die hard. Bill and hillary and their fixers in the press and DC are up to their old tricks.1 The clintons trade our national security for their power and treasure2 while old media and the DC establishment--pre-9/11, 20th-century relics all--do nothing.3 But this time the betrayal is happening in real time, right before our very eyes. Aided and abetted by the usual useful-idiot suspects in the press, allowed to operate with impunity by a Congress cowered by Filegate and other clinton abuses of power4 past, present and future,5 the husband is pushing the Dubai ports deal as seven-figure kickbacks from the crown prince sluice into clinton-family coffers6 and vulturine clinton cronies7 circle the kill.8 All this while the bagman wife assumes phony poses, both familiar 9 (hillary 'KNOWNOTHING VICTIM' clinton), and newly configured10, 11 (hawkish scold). There are none so blind as those who will not see... except, perhaps, those who do and prop the clintons up anyway12.
Why didn't they dig into the records??
Why didn't they point out that the Albright Group and the Cohen Group were benefactors of Comrade Clinton's little back-door deal?

Nice contribution to the thread------but the Clintons do not obey or follow US laws.
When the time comes, they will ask for amnesty!
I think somebody is beginning to play hardball.
Timing is everything in politics.
Great research work! All the more ammo I now have to fight rabid leftists and their daily "two minutes hate".
