PENTAGON POKES INTO HILL & BILL $$ PAPERS (Bubba got $300K for speech at 2002 Dubai Royal Summit)

The Defense Department big shot recently scoured Sen. Clinton personal financial filings - which are required by Senate rules and publicly available.
The records contain information about her investments and debts, including ex-president hubby Bill Clinton's income and speaking fees.
U.S. Joint Forces Command Deputy Legislative Director Cordell Francis dug through Clinton's records a week after news broke last month that Bill had advised Dubai leaders on how to navigate U.S. political concerns over its ports deal, Senate records show.
Francis was required to register his personal data with the Senate in order to access Clinton's records. The Post reviewed a list of people who had accessed the senator's documents.
The former first lady serves on the Senate Armed Services Committee. But Francis had no interest in poking around the personal treasure troves of any of the 23 other committee members, records show.
Clinton's personal money filings extensively outline her hubby's financial windfall through his close ties to Dubai officials.
They show Bubba raked in $300,000 for a chat-fest at the Science, Technology and Arts Royal Summit in Dubai in 2002.
But the former commander-in-chief was on the military's side in trumpeting the benefits of the now-scuttled sale of part of New York's port and operations in five other U.S. harbors - while the senator was one of its key congressional critics.
One possible explanation for Francis' interest could be Clinton's membership since 2004 in the Joint Forces Command advisory group. That requires her to fork over personal information for a background check.

Under the Foreign Agent Registration Act if the former President (clinton) has a close financial relationship with another government and takes money to advance the cause of that government economically, he has to register as an agent of that government.
Here again William J. Clinton, not just skirts the laws of the US, he breaks them for personal gain. He will be seen as a criminal by historians, if not by the current Justice Department.

Good point. Of course Bubba was doing that when he was still in office (via Lippo intermediaries, etc) so no reason to stop now.

Hey, when the military says "background checks may be completed" they mean background checks WILL be completed.
Here's a more pertinent question: WHY DIDN'T ANY OF THESE "Investigative Journalists" DO THIS!!??!!?? Why didn't they dig into the records?? Why didn't they point out that the Albright Group and the Cohen Group were benefactors of Comrade Clinton's little back-door deal?
Oh, wait... What am I saying? The media could care less about the truth so long as the lies and half-truths hurt President Bush. Anything that doesn't fit the left's daily "Two Minutes Hate" can't be reported.

But Francis had no interest in poking around the personal treasure troves of any of the 23 other committee members, records show. . .One possible explanation for Francis' interest could be Clinton's membership since 2004 in the Joint Forces Command advisory group. That requires her to fork over personal information for a background check. . .
It's common for reporters and opposition researchers to pore over a lawmaker's personal financial disclosure forms, but exceedingly rare for Defense Department officials to do it. ]
..............................
What is exceedingly strange is that this info, itself. . .is a headline. Who flagged this for Hillary and made news of it. . .does she check regularly to see who is checking on her(?) . . .
. . Given the MO of Clinton, Inc. lust for power; and their selling America - i.e. their advocacy for a self-serving price; the query seems no more than a good idea. ;
The fact that it is news. . .seems to create a warning from Clinton, Inc. itself.

I agree.
Any idea what this is all about:
"The Pentagon prying into Clinton came two weeks before her potential GOP Senate opponent, Kathleen "KT" McFarland, claimed the former first lady was spying in her bedroom window."

Four U.S. Presidents are caught in a tornado, and off they whirled to OZ.
They finally make it to the Emerald City and came before the Great Wizard.
"What brings you before the great wizard of Oz?"
Jimmy Carter stepped forward timidly:" I've come for some courage."
"No problem!" says the Wizard. "Who is next?"
Ronald Reagan steps forward, "Well........., I.......I think I need a brain."
"Done," says the Wizard. "Who comes next before the great and powerful Oz?"
Up stepped George Bush sadly and said, "I'm told by the American people that I need a heart."
"I've heard it's true!" says the Wizard. "Consider it done."
There is a great silence in the hall. Bill Clinton is just standing there, looking around, but doesn't say a word. Irritated, the Wizard finally asks, "What do you want?"
"Where is Dorthy?"
LOL
