aren't you supposed to be working....???????
I am looking at the screen and the clock in front of me said 1008PM,but the wall clock is obscured and I looked at it and thought it said 908PM, so of course I believed my half visible wall clock. How Phulish of me.
I'm still here!!
"Only the galacticly stupid (A Few Good Men) will continue to press the no Iraq/Al Qaeda connections or no WMDs. The MSM will continue to add caveats to any news about these documents until the "incompetent" mantra has taken hold."
I think that may be true, and we can hope the mantra won't take hold. I think that some of them may also continue to push it for the following reasons. As we've discussed before, the one *plan* the Dims do have is to discredit Bush as much as they can, especially on Nat'l Security - -that's one of the reasons they came out against the Dubai deal. They know Americans have always supported and trusted the Prez and the Pubbies more than the Dims on Security matters and the Dims think that's the only way they can win. They feel they need to continue w the Bush lied, people died as it sticks w their moonbat base (they don't listen, hate Bush and wouldn't believe the tapes if Saddam came out and verified them).
I think they'll also try to discredit the tapes and WMD by pushing: source not realiable (of course, they almost always use "sources say..."), can't be sure the tape is authenticate, etc., no other coroborating evidence found, and, there may be tapes, but no WMDs were ever found.
Congressman Hoekstra has been pushing release of the tapes and I hope he'll continue to stay on it.
I heard a Dim briefly as I was switching channels earlier say something to the effect of Bush took us in the war because of WMDs (which is not true) - -they're still using the old talking points - -guess they haven't received a fax in a while.
Great points Phsstpok.
I am working ;-)
"It is possible that a little courage may have transferred to Gregory during the President's trip to Afghanistan, India and Pakistan. Maybe he witnessed a real man facing down real - as in carbombs going off - threats."
Great point, maica! And/or he may still be embarassed about the press he got from a) being a rude idiot to Scott McClellan and b) being 'high' on Imus's show and decided he better chill awhile.
Thanks for reminding me about the SC decision.
I agree w you - Pinchy needs to be held accountable for his continued sedition (or traitorism) and should be held as an example for the rest of the lying scum who call themselves 'journalists' (Bill Sammon and a few others excluded from this).
Great post.
To add a little:
Murtha almost makes Byrd sound logical and wise
The heroes of 9-11 who ran into burning skyscrapers were manly men!
The people clearing rubble after 9-11 were manly. The women helping the rubble clearers were womanly women, and both sexes were doing what they were best at doing.
Before anyone misunderstands my cred for this view, I have been a feminist since I read my Nancy Drew mystery novels.
Well said!
LOL!
Oops, I'm one of those kids that had problems w the rope (but, then, I'm a girl (can I use that excuse??)- - I was great at archery and some other stuff, though ;-)
Did you run away too?
I don't think he feels bad about harassing McClellan, but he might very well have gotten a little "performance evaluation" talk from an NBC exec after his performance on Imus' show, and is chillin' for that reason.
Great points, Morgan and so true. I think back to some of the stuff he said in the Alito hearings and just shake my head how the people can keep electing him (though, I guess I shouldn't say much as the People's Republic of King County keeps giving Patty Osama Mama Murray and Bagdad Jim enough votes to elect them- - -Yechhh!)
"My response == but not all of you"
Isn't that the truth!!! I had a similar response (great minds think alike ;-)
Thanks for posting!! I just saw another bunny recently, but before that, I haven't seen one of these in a very long time!
Get some rest. Thank you so much for all your hard work yesterday. You had some great posts today, too.
Talk with you soon!
LOL!
I don't know much about the VM, except that from what I heard, it's not a play I would waste my money on.
I watched Chris Wallace ask Dicky Durbin 3 times about the lunatic fringe plan for Iraq and he said " there is a better way"
Well... Shucks... There is a faster way to the mall too but nobody likes a backseat driver!
So that's it , the Dems new political strategy is now that of the annoying backseat driver. Or better yet the know-it-all smartass! Ooooooh good choice! That should gain them some seats in the house......NOT!!
