The talking point is already shifting to the administration of the war. Only the galacticly stupid (A Few Good Men) will continue to press the no Iraq/Al Qaeda connections or no WMDs. The MSM will continue to add caveats to any news about these documents until the "incompetent" mantra has taken hold. That is why it is imperative that all Republicans and independent conservatives speak with one voice saying the Democrats cannot and should never again be trusted with the security of this nation.

The bad thing about that is the majority of people still listening to the LSM, think other races cannot be racist. I have people working under me who I've had to counsel about their racist remarks.

One individual actually used that statement in his defense. His words were something like, "I can't be racist because I'm not a honkie."

He was sent to the EEO office that day and had to get any and all policy letters and other flyers the EEO had as handouts. That little episode opened his eyes. He may hate my guts, but he no longer work at my shop.

One way to ensure "R"s retain their seats is to constantly equate Sheehan with the dems. For example, "Senator Durbin, your comments are almost verbatim with what Cindy Sheehan says all the time. When will she be joining your staff?"

Here is my post from another thread. Durbin et al get away with their lunacy because no one calls them on it. It would be nice for a pitbull reporter to dog Dems for once..

BUT, the main thing I noticed from the interview was the Schieffer must have used every variation of "sources say", or "some people say" or "reports have learned"...to accuse Bush and Cheney of all kinds of incompetence, wrong thinking..etc.

There are times I wish I was sitting across the table at one of these Sunday Talk Shows and ask these "so called experts", "Just who are these sources you keep quoting?"

BTW, an unnamed, feathered source just landed on the window sill and told me John Kerry served in Vietnam. < /sarcasm>

I agree with the frustration, but in reality we've only gotten the barest hint of what's in even this first very limited release. We should see more coming out over the next few weeks. 

What I think may happen between now and mid-year is

• the Democrats use up all of their over-the-top rhetorical ammunition
• the Iraqi government and military will be domonstrably shaping up
  
• the insurgency will be collapsing (actually cooperating with the government against Al Qaeda)
• the TRUTH about WMD and the Iraq / Al Qaeda ties will be coming out in a flood of information from this open source intelligence experiment.
