This morning my local morning radio guys were cracking on Bill O'Reilly for being a bit paranoid regarding Olbermann. They played a clip where a guy called in to his radio show and merely mentioned Olbermann's show, and O'Reilly cut him off and set Fox Security on him. I don't watch The Factor, so I totally missed this. Anyone else catch it?
Ummm...
Do ya think that maybe the O'Bloviator was just funnin'? Being absurd??
You don't really take that seriously, do you??
I heard the radio clip, he sounded pretty darn serious and repeated himself several times.
O'Reilly is not a conservative, so how can he make them look bad?
Heck, for that matter, I probably dislike Fox news more than most Democrats. It is HIGHLY overrated by the average Conservative..
Saying that O'Reilly makes conservatives look bad is like saying that Fidel Castro makes capitalists look bad.
Please.
O'Bloviator was being absurd.
And he & Ol'Beerman are keeping this going for publicity sake.
O'Reilly is NOT a conservative! He doesn't claim to be either. I agree that Olbermann is a prismatic jerk.
I couldn't agree more. Very well said!
um, the guy actually got called by Fox Security. No way was Bill joking
I agree that it has started looking more like the others, but it still is better than any of the others.
Faint praise, I know.
"merely mentioned Olbermann's show, and O'Reilly cut him off and set Fox Security on him."
That can't be the extent of it. There's more to this or o'reilly is blowing smoke about "Fox security".
Agree completely. There's only a couple floating around there with any core conservative principles, and the critical thinking + oratory skills to do justice to conservatism there.
O'reilly is not a conservative!
He is anti-2nd Amendment and think government should regulated the size of automobile engines and fuel mileage!
He hates Suvs!
He is only about half-right.
Probably the best thing to happen for Olbermann in years, a little bit of free press courtesy of the Bloviater himself. Lord knows he's not even a blip on the screen propagandizing for amessNBC.
What do you mean by 'set security on him'? It was a phone call?
Most people who don't follow politics closely would recognize O'Reilly and tell you he was a conservative.
there used to be a mediocre sportscaster named Keith Olberman in Los Angeles a few years ago. No one I know took this guy seriously as a sports jock and was sooner or later fired.
I wonder if it's the same guy trying to resurface as a pundit.
What's an 'olberman'?
