Wait a second...because people opposed the Port deal out of concern for national security, as I did, we're ignorant and "Osama won again"?

C'mon Chattie, that's not fair...the rhetoric has really ratcheted up over the past couple of days what with Gen Abizaid playing the race card.

The UAE does not recognize Israel, and actively supports both organizations and governments (Iran) that wish to "wipe the Zionist Entity off the map". These same organizations and countries (Saudi Arabia), have official postions in which they deny that the Holocaust actually occurred.

Yet those that oppose this deal are called racists while the REAL RACISTS are defended. Shame on us for, ONCE AGAIN, turning on, and eating our own.

Rush has a great saying, "words mean things". And he's right. When we call someone a racist who has a history of fighting racism, we diminish ourselves.


You obviously are uninformed... did you know that Israel came out IN SUPPORT of this deal?

Do you think that they might have looked at it a bit more and deeper with more perspective than you did?

Listen... you don't trust a-rabs. I understand that, I'm sure there is ALOT of apprehension concerning arabs and muslims. I wouldn't blame anyone for 'double taking' an arab borading their flight, or putting this deal through some extra reviews, but when you let that internal feeling of YOURS override all reasoning, facts, logic, and perspective... you are a racist.

Deal with it, or come up with a REAL reason against (I'm sure you cant since you make the WEAK and OLD Israel boycott talking-point that other racially motivated people have been seeking shelter under)

Not really. David Lane is one of our locally known radical leftist defenders. Bennish is not in the union so there's a question of who's paying Lane or if Lane is doing this because of his own leftist leanings. I'm guessing, but would not be surprised ot someone like MoveOn isn't picking up the tab or that Lane is doing it for the publicity.

The problem with the Dems is that they are linear in their thinking---and with blinders on. You have to think through changes before you jump. You must look at the rippling effect of any change. If you don't, you end up addressing the symptom not the root cause.

McCain and Clinton both effusively greeted the illegal-alien lobbyists as if they had come to champion some great moral and constitutional cause.

If he has not already doomed his campaign, perhaps this will go a long way to doing it. McCain of all people should know how angry Americans are of this unfettered invasion of our country by illegals.

Get some facts, brainbox. The UAE OFFICIALLY DOES NOT recognize Israel...and they provide financial support for both Hamas and Islamic Jihad. They still technically are in a state of war with Israel....spare me the Kool Aid.

They play both sides. This doesn't mean that they haven't been very helpful in the WOT, but lets not elevate them to Sainthood just yet, huh?
