I suppose on this thread it goes without saying, but I'll say in anyway...BOYCOTT THE OSCARS tonight.
I want the ratings for this year's program go into the toilet (where most the nominated movies belong). I won't waste my money to see the films, my electricity to watch the Oscars, or my time watching to witness Hollywood's self-adulation fest.
Pass it on...

Or unions. The only Oscars I'll be watching are the Oscar Meyer franks I'll be grilling. Last year I tuned in was '92. This new bunch of smart-a$$es does not impress me in the least. I don't even know who most of them are any more and probably wouldn't recognize them on the street if I saw them in person. I don't feel like I'm missing anything, either.

From the review: "Corruption ... is how we win." Ain't that the truth, especially in Hollywood, the recent Washington State's gubernatorial election (or any other time a Democrat gets his hands on a ballot box) and public education.
As for Hollywood, last year we saw euthanasia as laudable, and now we have gay cowboys and gay gerbils for all I know. Next year it'll be that Christ really married and had children, and therefore wasn't really the Son of God, as the Dome of the Rock says on its roof. Or, maybe we'll have consensus that child porn or sex with animals should be glorified, or, maybe, Communism.
Someday, those who write movie scripts will completely forget what goodness is.
