Savage is once again the only host talking about History of Islam. He just described Islam from 1301-1600. It sounded like he was just talking off the top of his head... seems to know his stuff. I know a bunch of you Freepers hate him... but he is saying stuff about Islam that I am only seeing at places like Free Republic.

I haven't found Savage to be of much use for anything other than entertainment value. He's a shallow hothead. \
His latest theme he keeps harping on is that we are becoming more like them and they are becoming more like us or such nonsense.

Savage is OK but what bugs me is that he just cuts people off too quickly.
I tend to agree with you. He's "on" about 95% of the time, in my opinion. The guy who says he's uninformed is just dead wrong. He is informed and he states things as they are. He's great.

Savage is great. I listen to him twice a day, live on the internet first, and then later on the radio. He's quite informed, way ahead of the news/commentary curve, but can offend those with tender sensibilities, hence the vitriol.
Just heard Savage play the "Body" Reid's statement about him.
The "Body" says he just happened to tune to Savage and heard him ripping W.
Then he says Savage usually doesn't do this.
If he doesn't listen how would he know?

BTW I like Savage. I also like Rush & Laura Ingraham. But if Savage wants to get on Rush about his golf we sure can get on him about his meatballs - and don't forget all of the "Teddy" minutes.

I agree.
I agree about Mikey cutting people off. Having listened to him since he was local on KSFO, I've grown tired of the same old act. When someone is making a point, Mikey cuts in and begins his stream of consciousness. Then the caller is dropped so Mikey can move on. That's not brilliance, that is just enjoying yourself speak.
