Savage is once again the only host talking about History of Islam. He just described Islam from 1301-1600. It sounded like he was just talking off the top of his head... seems to know his stuff. I know a bunch of you Freepers hate him... but he is saying stuff about Islam that I am only seeing at places like Free Republic.

Personally, I don't listen to either Savage or Rush. But for a more, ahem, reasoned approach to attacks on TROP, I'll take Michael Medved any day. Hey has been fairly relentless in his criticism of TROP and muslim basket-case countries. And all without the use of oxycontin or Valium (although perhaps with a sip of a nice Pacific Northwest ale).

Savage may have an understanding of history and philosophy, but any PhD should. Amazing that many PhDs are not prepared to discuss anything of philosophy even though their degree is Doctor of Philosophy.

You may hate it but Conservative talk was the beginning of a massive shift... the slow turning of the tide. The left wing agenda driven Main Stream Media has lost it's propaganda muscle because of it.

all right all right... Savage is a Crackpot. He's a crossdresser on crank. Is that better? Now can we talk about the fact that Savage is maybe just crazy enough not to care about what people think about him. Wait... did I mention he is a wiener? Okay... now if Rush would say "our ports are our borders" alot of you would be like, "yeah... our ports are our borders... thats good Rush... real good" and be quoting him all day. Or if Hannity would say, "we are in an era of Muslim expansion" and give a Islamic history lesson covering 1301-1600's you would say, "that Sean knows his stuff." But it is from the wiener loving crackpot so we won't even discuss it.

Work kept me away from a radio or the 'net most of last week, but from what I could gather he was leaning to support the deal. But by no means should that be taken to infer ANY softness on his part toward islamofascitwhackjobs. Sometimes I fear for the man's life.

I don't get Medved here in Fresno. Maybe his show is repeated online somehere... I'll check. He used to be on our big talk station but they dropped him several years ago. I liked him then... glad to know he isn't afraid of TROP !

Right now I'm away from the Seattle area and can't listen to him. I was just curious on how he was coming down given his religion. It seems a lot of Jewish people are having a hard time with the issue.

I heard him briefly making the point that a lot of times war forces strange, uncomfortable alliances that you would never consider any other time (e.g Stalin's Soviet Union in WWII). I don't think he used that as a defense of the port deal, but to describe his attitude in general - as a Jew - about relations with a country that doesn't recognize Israel.
