I wish Herman Cain would run for Lt. Governor.
I don't have anything against Reed, but I think he'll be a problem for the party.
I don't have anything against the other guy either, but I don't think he's anything spectacular.
I think both could lose the General, although not necessarily.
Cain, on the other hand, could not only beat them both in the primary, but he'd win the general easily and it would give him a great platform to run for Governor or Senator again at some point.

Thanks for the ping. Herman is terrific--he filled in for our local morning show host here in Pittsburgh for three solid days, and came across not only as extremely knowledgeable but as simply one of the kindest, good-hearted men EVER.
