As many of you know, I have been a big supporter of this president. As commander in chief and one who has a clear and resolute vision of the war we are fighting, I love the guy. (Yes, we should have an emergency closing of the borders until we get them under control.) It is unimaginable to think that the current group of traitorous Democrats would be in charge. We might already be using prayer rugs several times a day.
I also love Dick Cheney. He is a steadying force and invaluable asset to the administration.
Well, as much respect as I have for both of them, this latest incident involving the Vice President has to make us wonder and evaluate our political loyalty.
Cheney shot a fellow hunter, he failed to observe required safety precautions, and he didn't have a valid $7 stamp on his license to hunt quail in Texas. What is even more egregious is that he didn't immediately get on the phone to tell the New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Houston Chronicle, Miami Herald, Boston Globe, Dallas Morning News, Minneapolis Star, etc. That is unforgivable. How can Cheney get away with that?
So let me be the first FReeper to say it publicly. It is with heavy heart that I say it. Vice President Dick Cheney should resign. From the NRA.
How about "frog-marched" out of his office iun handcuffs?
Kin I get me a $7 huntin' stamp here?
And the lawyer Cheney hit with bird pellets should be disbarred for not yelling "objection" before Cheney shot him.
Resign? Why? Because of a hunting accident? Did he shoot the guy in the White House?
You scared me for a nano second!
I should have known when I saw dfu that it was tongue in cheek.
;-)
That's a bit harsh.
I do have one gripe I'd like to see the VP address: He doesn't take enough press people hunting with him. I think this accident could have been avoided if more reporters and reporterettes were between Mr. Cheney and Mr. Whittington.
I could not disagree more!
This is exactly what the dims want. They have made a mountain out of a molehill - as usual.
OMG... I love it! ;-D
Check out #88! ;-D
National Restaurant Association?
(A real organization!)
Ummmmmmmm. Did you read the last three words?
Read the last three words.
"I would be proud to hunt with the vice president cautious, but proud." Democratic Wyoming Gov. Dave Freudenthal.

We have come a long way. When Clinton left, I recommended that they tear everything down to the studs and rebuild the place.
Liberals can't say that Cheney hasn't put his mark on humanity.
Great post, Doug. Enjoyed reading it.
I can't believe I missed that!
Oh well .. I've been studying Dreamweaver and my brain is in overload mode.
You see, it is always good to read the whole article!
"PHEW!"
Mr. Cheney needs to take shooting lessons from a leftie who is REALLY profiting from the Iraq war....
