Honor Our Troops | Thank you for your service!!!! | We Support Our Troops

Posted on 02/13/2006 6:38:15 PM PST by GummyIII

We Support Our Troops!  For the freedom you enjoyed yesterday... Thank the Veterans who served in The United States Armed Forces.

Love Pictures
No greater love hath a man than to give his life for his friends.

FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT:  Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allies military and the family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before.

On Valentine's Day, we celebrate love.  Usually we celebrate the love between a man and a woman.  However, there are many faces of love, and I believe that our men and women who serve or have served in our armed forces are  the epitome of love.  The sacrifice, the caring, the hardships--they endure all because they believe in our country, they believe in defending her people, and they believe in the rights for which our forefathers fought so adamantly.  I dedicate this thread to recognizing the faces of love that these fine folks show to us in so many ways.  God bless each of them.

More faces of love

Valentine's Day would not be complete without some good ol' love songs.  Click on the pictures and enjoy the tunes!  Here's to loving and being loved!

Nora Jones
 "Come Away With Me"

Ed Ames
 "My Cup Runneth Over"

Charlie Rich
"Behind Closed Doors"

Patsy Cline
"I Fall to Pieces"

Ella Fitzgerald
"My Funny Valentine"

Elvis Presley
"Can't Help Falling in Love"

Ray Connif Singers,
"Somewhere My Love"

Judd Strunk
"A Daisy a Day"

Thank you to the many fine folks who helped me with music, ideas, pictures, and more!!!  Gummy

Oh no. Late night. :( But it is good for business. Those last minutes shoppers, getting their honey a gift on the last minute. They get credit though, at least they have good taste. :) LOL

Well, you set it up and I can be packed in 30 minutes...and that is the truth! :o) Of course, it takes a little longer to get a plane ticket.

BTW...have you seen TX yet?

Only in a blur

years ago, when my son was coming back across country from Twenty-nine Palms, Mr. Beachy and I helped him drive his car and some of his stuff back.

You know how men are.......they have to try to set a new record every trip. There were two of them, this time....LOL

We left on a Friday afternoon/evening, drove all the way, non-stop (except for gas and food/drink) and made it home sometime on Sunday. I think they hooped and hollered it was done in 36 hours.

See, blur!

I think I remember getting T-shirt from one of the gas-n-go places somewhere in Texas! LOL
