In some form or fashion, I have known the players in what I am about to describe as a series of regrettable moments at the funeral of Coretta Scott King.
The one I know least, President George W. Bush, won both my sympathy and respect for gallantly enduring the slings and arrows pointed directly at him during what should have been a celebration of a great woman, but instead turned into a political rally

Exactly right. (note tagline)
No serious person, black or white, doubts the courage and character of Rosa Parks.
Considering that liberals haven't a clue about class in the first place, they probably think the affair had class.
I worked with a French guy once who thought he had the utmost in class, yet, he would sit in his office and snort his snot all day long. It sounded gross and he always smelled, but he thought he was a class act.
You can say anything online and that doesn't make it true. All there is to judge by are his own words. And they are defiant and striking out at anyone who has addressed him. Sounds just like an angry male teenager that needs to denigrate others to puff up his own ego.
Well, I'm serious as a heart attack. I wonder about people sometimes. But, I have to remind myself that FR is for entertainment purposes at times and not always serious political discourse.
No, they don't. This is something that needs to be done by average Americans without being 'encouraged' by anyone. We don't need organized campaigns of outrage. That's what the Muslims are doing in Europe. We can express ourselves just fine without someone having to arrange it.
Thanks for posting the contact information for Mr. Carter. Now we just have to USE it!
Sounds like he's going to need life INSURANCE some time soon.
Class Act?
more like a cRass act
pssst.........Insure America's about page is flying MY state flag. I will have to pay him a visit and egg his house..... but you didn't hear that from me.
I wasn't referring to the PRESIDENT by a "vile name" when saying it was a Class Act minus the "Cl". I was referring to the spectacle of Jimmy Carter, the "Reverend" and assorted other leftist freaks as using the event to publicize their radical views and ATTACK the President.
I think you misinterpreted what I wrote, or I didn't make myself claer.
seems this is the 2nd time you have threatended me here. Tell me where and when and I will be there.
Or you don't have the balls for it? I say you don't. Just a bunch of blather like a lot of others here who need therapy, but rather than consulting a pro, they try to get it here through their nonsensical crepitations...
So, when should I expect that visit?
Actually, I'm glad you're back. I was really enjoying the myriad of folks ridiculing your juvenile (or should I say "weak?") act. I just refreshed my beverage, so please carry on.
I guess you would know, wouldn't you, since you spend all of your time there.
My cat was sitting next to me until I read your post. The poor thing is frightened by loud, unexpected sounds. ;)
Now that you mention it "@ss Clowns" is a much better name for Jiminy Cricket Carter but there surely must be a better one for da Rev.
well, you say things that I know are not true. I know for a fact you are taking RMD's and I question any connection you have to our military. Just because you say it, doesn't make it so. And, i give you the emotional capacity of a 24 year old idiot I know who acts just like you. But he is not yet senile, of course..
And your portentious right wing ramblings don't fool anyone. Where do you carry your card, anyway? Keep it hidden these days? Are you still with NOW, by the way?
Got a cindy sheehan complex or something do we??
I was unaware that NOW had become right-wing. I might have to look into it. Great way to meet babes!
LOL, at any rate hopefully you won't be around FR much longer.
""Whatever humor he was attempting was not only a failure, but in very bad taste"
I find it infinitely amusing that you, admittedly, don't know what humour I was attempting, (see your comment above)if indeed I even was, yet you have no problem with leveling one criticism after another to me, as if you know everything about me and why I wrote what I did, do you?
Hypocrite comes to mind.
