Sometimes, even when you are a fan, you have to look at the situation and realize you had it handed to you. The very fact that tons of people on this thread are questioning it says something in itself. It's a shame. The Steelers might have won fair and square. But we'll never know.
Cowart=Cowher Sorry for the quick and useless fingers.
And Algore got more votes than Bush in 2000.
OUT OF 40 SUPERBOWLS THIS TEAM HAS TO BE THE WORST. WHAT A TERRIBLE GAME. THE WINNING TEAM EXECUTED 3 PLAYS, YEP, 3. THE WINNING TEAM WILL NOT LET THEIR QB THROW THE BALL. WHAT A JOKE.
Nevermind--MVP wins the Escalade (like he couldn't just buy one???)
Tribute to Jerome Bettis now!
This is fun! I almost wish our resident looney tune, maineman, was still here. He'd be having an authentic breakdown. :)
Never claimed to be! :D
Actually, this just shows how good the Bengals proved to be earlier in the year. And as I said earlier, enjoy it. Pittsburghs run ends.
first off im not a seattle or stealer fan, but i was a football fan, not sure if its a game anymore or a scripted movie.
Congratulations, Steeler fans!!
We gave away too much today. I feel so bad for our guys.
Ah, well....
i wasn't watching the thread the second half but i said to xshub, so are the seahawks whining about being jobbed here? knowing full well that is what was going to be said by these bawlbabies on here.
And that one play was to overturn another bad call...so the benefit the Seahawks got from that call was to NOT be screwed for once.
One thing you must remember when rooting for a team: your team must be better ... better than bad calls ... better than mistakes ... better than the other team on the day your team is playing them.
Accept that. You'll love football even more if you do.
"The officiating was an embarrassment; the refs obviously were reading the papers, and knew who was supposed to win."
Is your mommie there to change your diedies?
I showed up after 3000 something and am not a fan of Seattle, but they were robbed by the officials. When the Steelers players get home to there Tivo's, I bet it'll take 'em a notch down. Sort of sad, really.
It's official, he just announced his retirement.
I agree.
Cheers!
