From DiFi's office:
Senator Feinstein to Vote No on Cloture for the Nomination of Judge Samuel Alito to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court
Washington, DC U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) today announced that she will vote no on cloture regarding the nomination of Judge Samuel A. Alito, Jr. to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court.
Based on a very long and thoughtful analysis of the record and transcript, which I tried to indicate in my floor statement yesterday, Ive decided that I will vote no on cloture.

Exactly! This is nothing more than posturing by the RATs but I would love to see them try a filibuster. :)

L0LGrin...I've never registered Dem or voted for one in my life, but I suppose there's always a first time for everything, especially in a good cause. ;-)

At our OK State Convention last spring, Senators Inhofe, Coburn, and George Allen (our keynote speaker) all said the Republicans were set to use the constitutional option on Supreme Court nominees -- they reminded us it should be called the "constitutional" not nuclear option.

I re read this article and it points out the following.
The sign of a party in disarray is when outsiders (NewYorkSlimes) sets the talking points and values instead of their elected leaders.
Are Dimocrats spineless?
Well they certainly act like a slug that just crawled out of the sewer of no morals or ethics.
John Kerry is nothing more than a Muck Diving Step and Fetch-It for the extreme out of touch fringe of his party.
You know what?
The Dimocrats with out the guns (they banned them)remind me of this new terrorist party in Palestine called Ham-ass.

Ever notice how all these feminist women complain about female stereotypes, yet they're the most stereotypical females around? Always changing their mind, shrill, emotional, over-the-top hysterical, "sissy" when it comes to supporting guns or the military. That's DiFi!

DUers are calling and e-mailing all the Democratic Senators regardless and the Senator who are sitting on the fence about filibustering said they are waiting to see how many calls they get. WE HAVE TO ACT NOW! Are you suggesting that we call our Senators and encourage them to filibuster in order to destroy the Dem Party? [chuckle]
To: Wolfstar
Ive thought of registering independant to get in on these activities.
Though here in Tx it a moot point!

Even post her repair/restorative facial surgery, Greta Van Susteren gives Ginsberg a run for her money in the Ugly Stakes.
And the moment she opens her crippled cake hole and lets the contents of the black hole that does her for for a mind, a soul and the content of her character implode upon us, leaves litte doubt as to her "serious contender" status.

I find that NYT article quite disturbing; and I mean the toen of it and the out and out proof in fonts that they are condoning the attempt to cripple a sitting president.

She might as well vote no and show her stoopidity once again.
She certainly has opened her big mouth enough to talk her way out of the presidency.
Maybe she will talk her way out of a job as a Senator.
Why don't Frist and the Republicans start punishing these assholes for doing nothing but constant negativity?
Why not withhold funding or special benefits.

I'm with you on the scary business.
Fox announced today that the Tabloid press in the US had a better accuracy rate on their stories than did the Main Stream Media and that includes nobody's friend the New York Slimes.
Now that ain't much of a record when the Enquirer is more true than the Gray and Dying Old Lady.
And dammit that is so sad that a spoiled child is able to dismantle a formerly staid old newspaper.

The thing about DiFi is that she's carefully cultivated a calm, moderate, centrist image, in contrast to the openly Leftist, shrill Barbara Boxer. Of the two, Boxer is actually the more honest about her poltical leanings. There's very little difference between them politically, but Feinstein hides behind a mask of moderation.

DiFi didn't have a choice. She is from SF and that is her political stronghold. SF represents the radical fringes of the Democrat party.

I agree. All no votes on cloture at this point are meaningless partisan grandstanding.
